booked a car with them - not good at all

booked a car with them: from the website I understood the car had full insurance cover, but then I called hertz and they say I had to add 21€ per day or they freeze 900€ from my credit card, and take money from there if I make an accident, so I wanted to cancel; but...but the cancel button in kayak do not work.I called hertz and they say I have to cancel in kayak (which makes sense), anyhow I told them, and I also email kayak the contact email address found on the booking telling them I want to cancel.Plus I ended up having a kayak account I did not ask for.I will not book a car in kayak anymore, sorry.Now I try to remove the account, will tell you if I have issue with this or, worse, if they start spammmingReply to Kayak (16th of June):sad you don't even want to go into details about what happened: giving fault to other is childish, not a good business attitude. I did not book directly to the company suggested by your result, but booked into your account! Anyhow the answer confirm my understanding.

I booked a flight last year December and I missed my flight due to some family reasons and I called and asked if I could rebook you said anytime I want my flight would be available and fast forward to two weeks ago I asked if I could still used if ya’ll said yes and I put the date I want but you said you’ll get back to me with a plane ticket before that day through an email and today I got an email from you people saying I can’t anymore cos it was a promo and it over. Jeez you people are the worst and you people are a scam i can’t believe this 💔💔💔💔 I need to see my husband in Wisconsin tomorrow for Easter Jesus Christ 😤😤😤😤

Most reliable airline of USA

I am a frequent traveler and use many airlines. In the USA, Delta is by far my favorite. Their on-time arrival is very good, bags arrive with me and come out quickly, and there is always a snack and drink on the flights. I don't get the same reliability from others.

Horrible experience advertising. Never ever advertise on this site. I thought I had canceled my account but was billed over $700. This was not me being upset the ads didn't work but not realizing they were charging me. When I called they did not offer a refund. Just to add insult to injury, from what I can tell from their metrics, 6 people visited my business in 60 days! LOL! Please, please be careful not to make the same mistake I did and use this website. Stick with google, facebook, youtube, or something else. There are many better services and you should know when you're being billed!!!!!!!!!!

Non trusting, and all around horrific. If you get a lead it is a scam, if you save your photos or any work they can delete it at any time if you take too long to login. My favorite part if you want to get your information you have to pay them. Its all about the money they do not know what good customer service means.

I should have left long ago! 1. They have THE WORST customer service, and i do not take these words lightly, one time we literally started sending them daily emails as we were not hearing back( about something that was making us lose money everyday if not fixed) and after a week or so instead of replying to us with a solution they replied:" it seems you have many open tickets with the same inquiry, I will group them into one ticket for you" OMG they could have answered us instead! it would have taken the same time!2. They removed our subscription before the end of our subscription period and stopped answering: we unsubscribes which means we have until the end of the month ( we planned everything accordingly) as soon as we unsubscribes, our website was no longer reachable.. and guess what?? THEY NEVER REPLIED! lol Im honestly in complete shock at how they still have business running. 3. They have WAY less features than others in the market for more money4. They increased the subscription by a very large amount without our consent at some pointmy honest advise: put your money somewhere you can actually get the value you pay for, many peers of mine are with other platforms and seem to be much happier with what feels like 80% less issues + less money.

Review of oculus

Warning about Buying a Oculus rift s

Let me start by saying don't buy the Oculus Rift S from Currys/PC world, they really do not know what they are selling, nor do they have anyone that really understands the new interface (Displayport) to which Oculus is now using in the later version of their headsets. Whereas they used to HMDI port connection they have change this to the newer port system. However WARNING !! you'll find it very hard to find a converter from Displayport to HMDI; further to which Oculus do not support any converters of any kind; and there is every chance even if you find a converter, it might just not work, and they aint cheap. Going forward to use the Oculus Rift s, you really need a system that supports Displayport, they at present are few between, and you really need to check any PC or indeed laptop for the Displayport connection is in place. I have now gone ahead and ordered a mini pc to enable my use of Oculus Rift S, I'll you know within a review just how good the Oculus Rift S is, as soon as the new mini PC is built.

Went to use Microsoft Authenticator on my mobile. Was given two "Help Beat the Robots" tasks, one audio and one visual. Both defeated me and thus wasted my time.I appreciate AI makes robots more of a problem but the innovation is not a solution for many customers.

Hotel.com Doesn't let you write a negative truthful review

Hotel.com Doesn't let you write a critical review on any hotel. I tried writing negative reviews at hotels I stayed and and they wanted me to rewrite them. This is America not China. I did not use any foul language or anything abusive. The Customer service was terrible. I pointed it out, and they didn't like it. They are just about control and censorship. I don't play that game.

Glassdoor has lost all credibility

Glassdoor has lost all credibility over the last few years. As a HR practitioner I used to trust that the reporting they provided comparing companies was authentic, but I’m seeing genuine negative reviews about competitor companies vanish in real time. As an individual who may want to leave a constructive but truthful review, they won’t let me use the site anymore without first providing a heap of personal info and then verifying my employment via my WORK EMAIL address. I think they’ve lost their marbles if they think I’m doing that. No more glassdoor for me or my organisation.

Review of duolingo

Once fantastic app now ruined

Used to be a fantastic and engaging app for learning languages which I loved using every day and would have recommended to anyone. Since the recent UI update the progression system has been over-simplified to the point that users can no longer choose what topics to practice, or which direction/pace their learning takes. This completely killed one of the main plus points of using Duolingo. On top of that, a lot of other tips and useful learning features have been removed in favour of an over-the-top gamification which is entirely focussed on addiction tactics and pushing in-app purchases, completely forgetting why people liked the app in the first place.The backlash to the update has been very clear and vocal from all users on social media. Several polls have placed dislike of the update at around 90% of the user base. Yet Duolingo has refused to engage with or listen to the feedback. Their tone has in fact been somewhat mocking at times.As if all that wasn't enough, Duolingo has also recently pushed a misleading (if not outright scamming) deal - they recently advertised a limited time 60% off offer, which in reality was only around 3% off.Since the update I have cut down on my Duolingo usage and started exploring alternative apps. If the awful changes are not reversed I will cease using Duolingo altogether in the near future. I hope that Duolingo will come to their senses and reverse the changes - if they do I will happily change/remove this review.

Most useless support service ever existing

A new account I created got banned for adding 5 people with the search option. I tried to unban it by verifying my phone number. It didn't worked. It's was an infinite loading screen. I waited for 5mins than I refreshed the page and tried my second phone number. Again the same problem, infinity loading BS. So I refreshed and booom, it said "your account is permanently banned" than I'm contacting the support and telling them what happened. And a Karen appears... He/She says "YoUr SnApChAt AcCoUnT iS eNgAgInG sPaM BeHaViOuR" WTH? HOW??? WHEN????! The most nonsense support answer I got. The support worked just send out automatically written Textes without any context to the actual issue. Just BS. They should get all fired!!!!
