Review of adidas
I ordered 2 items today and never received an email confirmation so I decided to work with a chat person (Maria Teresa) and she said that Adidas is going to be cancelling my order but don't worry- the payment that is on hold will be released shortly after. I asked why they were cancelling and she said she had no idea- said that it could be a billing related issue or shipping address issue. I asked if I'd receive an email and she said yes eventually. NO ANSWERS. I asked if I should re-order and she said yes so I said well how do I know the same issue will not happen-she said we don't know. BEYOND CONFUSED ADIDAS! Gives me a terrible feeling inside of am I getting my order or are they taking my money? I guess I'll see if Reebok has something I like instead.

Adobe started taking monthly payments from me after (I thought) I cancelled. Finally paid nearly $100.00 to get them off my back for good (they said for cancelling early). They took more per month than what they advertised. Their service did not work for me in the first place. I thought Adobe was a reputable company but I found out otherwise. Steer clear of Adobe.
Review of kickstarter
I backed a project called "Meet Loona - The Most Intelligent Petbot by Jianbo". I've backed other projects in the past, and never had a negative experience like this one. This Loona project offered backers the chance to receive their products before Christmas if they paid a hefty extra shipping fee in advance. However, Jianbo chose to use all of the money from backers all over the world to give the American backers VIP dedicated service which is being denied to all others. Shipping updates for all backers only mentioned shipping to the US. Other backers were excluded and had to ask to get vague information. They wouldn't even tell us who our couriers would be. American backers got UPS tracking numbers well in advance of backers from the rest of the world. Most already have their shipments or will be receiving them within a few days. They are all gloating about it on Kickstarter comments and on external social media such as Facebook. Meanwhile backers from other parts of the world are stuck with last minute bargain basement shipping. For example, Canadian backers like me didn't receive tracking numbers until December 14. Our parcels have been sitting in a Hong Kong warehouse ever since. Yesterday (Dec 17) the tracking was updated to "on hold" status. We have no idea why our parcels are on hold or when we can expect our shipments to leave Hong Kong. Maybe Jianbo can't afford to pay the couriers after spending all the money on the Americans.Backers who paid extra for Christmas shipping from other parts of the world including Australia and the EU got similarly shafted. Most of them don't even have tracking numbers yet, and the few who do have been told they won't get their shipments until Dec 29 or later. Jianbo has been silent about this whole mess, and even sent an "update" a few days ago claiming that their staff all have covid, which is nonsense. Now they don't even have the app or software ready for their device, so it won't even work when people finally receive it.But the worst part has been the paid trolls who are being used for damage control on social media. Rather than admit that they screwed up the shipping and apologize or offer refunds to the people who've been ripped off, they're paying trolls to viciously bully, harass, insult and personally attack people who complain on social media or Kickstarter comments. For example, one person who complained because the late shipment means their child won't get their Christmas present was told by a paid troll that they were "disgusting". Others have been accused of "whining" and "not being sympathetic to Jianbo's situation". They're called "stupid" for "not reading updates". These trolls even make posts telling people they don't have the "right" to "freak out" about the shipping situation and should "shut up". Meanwhile these trolls also brag about getting their shipments a week earlier than anyone else. They're Americans, of course. Complaints to Kickstarter about this abusive behaviour are ignored. Kickstarter should not be allowing sleazy or incompetent projects to hire and use paid trolls to muzzle backer complaints and concerns. Customers have every right to complain about poor service. The fact that they allow and condone this behaviour only shows that this is a business which completely lacks any moral standards. Any project that's ripping off customers by charging them for services that aren't provided should be shut down, forced to refund backers and banned from the platform.

Review of domestika
Same as everyone else, they signed me up to their subscription package without my knowledge - then refused to refund me. Also have had an extra charge not linked to any course or subscription - it's a random charge over over $100 for nothing - VERY BAD COMPANY - DO NOT USE!!!!

Review of venmo
I don’t use my Venmo card too much, but I did use it at the gas station. I asked for $50 in gas as I was filling up and didn’t know how much I was going to need. I only ended up charging $22. This was at a Chevron. Well it’s been several days and my hold is still on for $50. Even though it does show the credit card was only charged $22.50 when I asked the Venmo chatline, they said the whole will be on for up to 21 days ! This was their answer: The $50 hold on your Venmo payment is a common industry practice implemented by Venmo to ensure a safer environment for both buyers and sellers. This hold provides an easy path to resolution in the event of disputes on eligible payments. Held payments are automatically released within 21 days. This is because selling products and services online carries some inherent financial risk, and these holds are applied to eligible payments to account for this risk. Since these holds are automated, there isn’t a way to stop them from happening. This is outrageous!

Review of Spotify
I had a Spotify Unlimited subscription and had paid a reasonable rate of £4.99 since 2012. Annoyingly, the card I had attached to my account expired and thus the subscription was cancelled. I don't use Spotify on my mobile so I simply want to use it on my PC without ads, so I tried to get my subscription extended at the previous rate. After 8 years of subscription, where I've enjoyed the product greatly, I was met with template email responses that were supposedly from real people, full of whimsical stock language designed to appease me, and essentially force me into a Premium subscription.I cannot believe that Spotify would rather lose me altogether and anger me enough to leave this negative review, rather than simply extend the Unlimited subscription and continue to get money from me.Is it really that hard? Hey, I get it as a business strategy for newbies joining the service, but I have been a customer for many many years. Does that not count for anything?Baffling. They have massively gone down in my estimation. As a copywriter and an expert in brand values, I don't rate yours very much Spotify.

Review of jotform
JotForm is a perfect fit for my business. I always want to change our paper feedback form to digital but nothing really work out until I find Jotform from a random google search. It's straight to the point, easy to set up and with many great integration such as with Google Sheet, free up your time of data entry. Highly recommended!

Review of apple
Feeling extremely let down by Apple today.I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years and have spent thousands of pounds with them. But when I was recently scammed by a non-functioning app—WIPR 2—Apple refused to stand by me.I reported the issue the same day I purchased the app, requesting a refund under UK consumer law, which clearly provides protection for digital purchases that do not work as advertised. My initial request was denied, as was my appeal.Today, I called Apple customer support again, hoping to escalate the issue. Instead, I was met with a dismissive, aggressive representative who claimed my refund attempts were invalid because I didn’t use the exact phrase “right to withdraw.” This kind of semantic gamesmanship is outrageous—especially when the law is on my side.To make matters worse, I was told that refund requests aren’t even reviewed by a human being. They're processed by a computer algorithm. How can this possibly meet legal standards, let alone customer service expectations?Lastly, I asked the representative to explain the specific reasons why my refund request had been denied. He couldn’t provide an answer. Instead, he said he would send me the terms and conditions. When I asked which section of the T&Cs applied to my refund case being denied, again he could not answer and he responded he would email me the terms & conditions. What followed? Not one, but ten separate emails in a row, each containing lengthy terms and conditions, effectively spamming my inbox. Was that a power move? If so, I hope it gave that overly aggressive representative some sense of satisfaction, because from a customer perspective, it was petty, unhelpful, and deeply unprofessional.I’m shocked that a company as large and influential as Apple treats its long-term customers this way. It feels like they’re more interested in protecting profits than upholding consumer rights. This experience has genuinely shaken my trust in Apple.
Review of abebooks
I've never received any books, and they refuse to reimburse me saying "oh there's no tracking number available for your order so just wait". (like it's going to magically appear, as we are already past the shipping delay announced)Well, i'm not the one shipping internationally, and not asking for a tracking number.Just run, it's a scam.
