I have purchased several items, mostly solar, and every time I have received inferior equipment, equipment that does not work, damaged in shipping because of poor packaging, etc. My latest attempt at a purchase, the seller did not accept payment which says is approved on the Alibabab web site, and charged extra to purchase their equipment through Trade Assurance, which is an advertised safety to protect both seller and buyer. They also pressured me to buy with a bank transfer, which I feel is not very secure. I cancelled the sale after repeated hassle, and mark ups. I have since cancelled my account with Alibaba, and will never use their web site again. Beware.

Updated September 11, 2024They finally returned my funds after months of BS and shutting down my account.Update September 10, 2024I told them to enjoy the money they are not going to return it even after showing them proof. I already deleted the app and will never look back... scamming prices!!Deposited $300.00 1mobth ago; they are withholding it, via etransfer and they have it because interac sends email confirmations. Even after showing them that the funds were deposited into their account, providing them with the bank statement, and reference number to the transfer they are still not depositing the funds. The transfer was done correctly added my ID in the transfer so they would know what account it was coming from amd.which account it should be going to.No excuses!!! Beware of this app it seems to have been hacked.I even tried sending them an email and get this none of my emails can be verified. I have screen shots o showed then nothing. Half the time I can't even upload them because their chat attachment button doesn't work.Update: July 29, 2024. Nothing has been done and they are asking me for documents I already supplied. System is always disconnecting of server. This is the 5th to 7th ticket I had to create. This is passing me off nowAugust 31, 2024 still no money back only stupid stuff like interac profile is needed no such thing after I spoke to interac.

Cannot pass new verification (after previous document ID has expired). Their Android app is complete crap: doesn't allow uploading a photo nor taking a photo, hangs all the time, doesn't log in for 30 and more minutes. Verification via a desktop web browser is impossible. Support recommends to change the smartphone!!! Then the support assistant disappeared and a new came and started telling the same lie. Also, they said that there are issues with my network (they somehow saw that on the screenshots I sent them). Though, I checked that network by uploading a 1 Gb file to a cloud storage without any issues. Binance earns billions of dollars (!!!) and don't even try to provide adequate service. One of the worst companies I have dealt with.UPD #1: All that recommended stuff, I did. Nothing helps. Case ID #110***868 (looks like there are already more than a hundred million complaints).UPD #2: Time requested from me? Each time I'm requested to wait more and more: 10 mins, 30 mins, 1 hrs, 2 hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs, 24 hrs... And no results... Just new stupid lies.

After a very bad holiday experience, because of poor information on the web site, handling of the complaint was the worst I have ever experienced. Communication is extremely difficult, unclear, confusing, slow, and no significant action is taken. Promises to contact me were not kept. Case was closed without informing me. Zero result after weeks of trying.

Invested many hundreds of pounds in product a year ago that was due to be shipped in a couple of months. A year and thousands of comments on the website later, nothing. Many others with the same experience with this company, who are very unresponsive. There is no sign at all that Indiegogo are doing anything about this experience at all.
