Just another arm of Facebook. If you leave a comment remotely controversial about basic stuff, all it takes is a few soft people to flag ur comment & poof ur account is gone. They don't say the reason for the suspension, they didn't even give me an option to appeal it LOL. Wish I could leave 0 stars
I hope you're well. Around 100 days ago, one of my posts was flagged and removed. It was a collaboration with a brand where I participated in a photoshoot and promoted a free giveaway of a pyjama set. There was no money involved—participants simply had the chance to win the item by engaging with the post.Since then, I’ve noticed a significant drop in engagement and reach, and it feels like I’ve been shadowbanned, which is impacting my growth and follower trust. I believe the post was mistakenly flagged, and I respectfully request a review of the decision.Please look into this matter as soon as possible. This ongoing issue is affecting my ability to work with brands and build my platform.
Just wanted to post this review against Instagram and Facebook for the accounts they've banned where they had not broken community policy / this seems to be an easy excuse.To then ask for proof of ID i.e like a passport on a social media platform could possibably be the worse thing you could do to try and get you account back because of identify theft. Come on / common sense.If Instagram or Facebook can't put controls in place to protect peoples accounts from falling into being banned especially for those who have had there accounts for years, and poured there heart and soul into them. Then really Facebook and Instagram should cease from providing a service because they are incapable of doing so...
Meta disabled my Instagram and Facebook accounts without any warning, specific reason, or meaningful way to appeal. This included both personal and professional accounts I’ve used for years to run my creative business.I lost access to multiple accounts across Instagram and Facebook that were all tied to my work as a photographer and small business owner. These accounts included original content, client communications, and business pages that represented years of effort and income.Despite following Meta’s official appeal and privacy request processes, all I’ve received are automated responses that direct me to tools I can’t use — because the accounts are locked. There has been no human contact, no explanation of what policy was violated, and no support available.This is not just an inconvenience — it’s a major disruption to my business. If Meta can shut down years of work and communication without due process or accountability, it’s deeply troubling for any professional relying on their platforms.I’m not asking for special treatment — just the chance to know what happened and to recover what I’ve built. Meta must do better.
I can’t in good conscience recommend using instagram the way things are going right now. Constant glitches, inability to like comments or posts due to “limiting the certain amount of content users can like”, random accounts being deleted and/or banned with no reason. Inappropriate content being left up for viewing fueling child and predatory exploitation while innocent and regular content gets the boot
Such poor customer service! My account was hacked and my email/phone number changed so I can no longer recover the account. I have attempted to get in touch with Meta/Instagram, and it has been impossible. Currently someone has full access to my account and I am unable to do anything about it. Such a horrible feeling to think a hacker could potentially be messaging people I know pretending to be me. There's zero way to freeze the account in such a scenario. I can't believe a multi billion pound company has such poor customer service.
Absolutely useless.... had an account that was hacked and log in details changed... totally useless links to recover send you round and round in endless circles.... probably no point in writing this because i doubt anyone at Instagram has enough IQ to read it but i feel better for it. God help you if you get hacked because the useless spanners at support won't
