I created a brand new instagram acc as I've never used instagram, TheDxsiredOne the same name as all my other media accounts and got suspended as soon as I Logged in on my new computer? What the hell is going on?
Ad my account for almost 7 years not so much as violation or warning, wake up this morning and it was working fine, 20 minutes later it’s been suspended for “ community guideline violations” and was given no other explanation, tryed to appeal it didn’t tell me why didn’t let me plead a case just asked me to send them 2 codes they sent to to me asking for a picture of myself and my id. A few hours later got a notification that I was logged out and now my account is just gone no explanation why no change to plead a case or even to know why
As a small business owner who has been on Facebook since 2007, I am absolutely disgusted and furious with how Meta treats its users — especially the small businesses that have helped build their platform.Recently, my personal account was suspended simply for sending private messages to local businesses to build a networking group. No spam, no bots, no harassment — just one business owner trying to connect with others. This was my first ever violation in nearly two decades of using Facebook, and the punishment? A total lockout. No warning. No explanation. No human to speak to. Just a soulless, automated system with zero accountability. What Meta has done is not just unfair — it’s unacceptable. I manage multiple business profiles through that personal account, and now I’m completely cut off from them. They have the power to erase years of work, connections, and effort in a second, with no regard for the real lives and businesses affected. To add insult to injury, there’s no real appeal process. No human support. No accountability. You’re just expected to accept their decision and move on. For a platform that thrives on user-generated content and relies heavily on small business ad spend, this is nothing short of hypocrisy. To other small business owners: be warned. Meta is not your partner — they are a threat. If they can do this to me, they can do it to you. There is zero protection for small businesses here. Don’t build your business on a platform that can take everything away with no notice, no logic, and no recourse.I’ve had enough of Meta’s arrogance, greed, and disregard for the people who keep their platform alive. We deserve better.
My 10 year old account was hacked and I restored my account and after 3 days Instagram deleted my account, they want my ID card so they can restore the account, I don't know what to say, I just have no words. I'm done with them 🤐
My Instagram profile was hacked.I have no idea how it happened, but someone took over my account and used all my personal info, pictures, videos, etc., as their own.The hacker uploaded more photos and sent countless messages and requests in my name.I tried to log back in, but this terrible platform didn’t allow it. It used outdated contact details I haven’t used in years and sent login codes there.I managed to log in once, and what I saw was disturbing.Hundreds of new friend requests, messages, video calls — the hacker was trying to engage men in sexual video chats. If someone declined, she blocked them. She even changed my name to that of a famous Italian model and used stolen photos of someone else, pretending to be a Spanish woman — but it's clearly an African woman from Ivory Coast (which I confirmed by tracing login activity).I have absolutely no connection to Africa. One of my friends actually spoke with her and confirmed she was trying to seduce men into nude video chats and similar scams.I, along with several friends, reported my profile as hacked — but Instagram did nothing.I had to verify myself multiple times via video and official ID, yet I, the real owner, was denied access.Eventually, Instagram suspended my account.I thought: "At least no one can access it anymore." But that wasn’t true — the hacker is still able to use my profile for fraud!Great job, Instagram.Be proud of your support system and policies — absolutely nothing works on this broken platform!
So I fell for a scam email advising I’d infringed intellectual property. Both my instagram and Facebook accounts were disabled within 30 minutes of replying to the scam mail. 2 months on I’ve had absolutely no help to regain access to my accounts. The help centre is useless. It takes me to a dead end. There is no customer service or person to speak to and no option to appeal. Years of my memories lost, not to mention my business pages. Disappointed beyond belief at Meta.
We recently got hacked and Instagram hasn't responded to a single email (all 8 of them) there support page doesn't work what so ever it just try's to tell me that I've forgotten by password, almost like they don't want to admit I've been hacked, they also said that they sent us an email for the email to be changed and reset (how we got hacked) yet we received no email as if we did we could of prevented getting hacked. We have had no help what so ever and are unable to get our account back as its for our business so its very important to us.
Don’t want to use Instagram but signed up to see friends post. Right after I submitted all the requested information I was emailed that account was “permanently disabled “ and that I could not ask for a review. No explanation whatsoever and no way to contact anyone. Apparently you can post sexual content, conspiracy theories, extreme views but you can’t open an account as a regular person. Maybe I need Nazi in my title to get accepted.
