Account in appeal since March 18

I’ve been locked out of my Instagram account since March 18 after what appears to be an automated restriction. I immediately submitted an appeal as instructed, and ever since, the only response I get is that my appeal is “in process.” It’s now been over three months, and I haven’t received a single update or communication from Instagram.What’s most frustrating is that there is no way to speak to a human being—no email, no chat, no follow-up. Their support system is a dead end, and users are left in the dark with no recourse, even when they’ve followed all procedures.Instagram/Meta clearly does not care about users unless they’re paying for ads or Meta Verified. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has shown how little regard they have for everyday users’ data, time, or access.Absolutely unacceptable. If you’re thinking about building anything meaningful on this platform, beware—you can lose access overnight with zero support.

Instagram permanently disabled my account for no reason which was linked to my Facebook. With false accusations.

Paid for DWA. No Access. No Refund

Late May 2025, I purchased a digital course called DWA (Digital Wealth Academy) for $497.I paid in full using my debit card through a PayPal link provided by Samara Flores Gutiérrez, who actively promotes the course on Instagram (@soysamaragtrrz_).After the payment, I was never granted access to the course. The platform immediately showed “Access Denied”, and the next day it said “Banned.” This was very strange and alarming. I became worried and immediately requested a refund. I notified the course creator, Rachell, right away and contacted the seller multiple times to request a refund, but neither she nor Rachell has processed it. As of today, 3½ weeks later, the issue remains unresolved. I feel scammed and want to warn others to stay away.

Account got hacked

Account got hacked, there is no way of speaking to Instagram about this as there’s no contact for them, the email addresses I’ve found I have not received a reply from them, my account has pictures of my little boy on which is now in the possession of a hacker! They also have access to information of my kids school, my work address, my partners work address and our home address, I’ve had no choice but to contact the police for all of our safety especially my 6 year old son, absolutely disgusting from Meta/Instagram, they are also withholding my privacy information which by law under GDPR I am legally entitled to.

Totally incompetent

Someone tried to register my email here. I did not click the verification link, and as required, I clicked the "Remove your email from this account" link. It said it is failed to remove my email. Since then I receive spam from this business. I click Unsubscribe, I click "Remove your email", again see "Failed to remove email!", and they keep sending me those spam emails. The email verification is pretty basic thing. It is hard to make it non-working. Those guys made it. They are so unprofessional, that they screwed this simple feature. Shame...PS. So after a few days of spamming from their side I sent an email to their abuse team. I reported them 2 problems in their code handling user requests. The result? Zero. They think everything's fine. As I said, totally incompetent...

Locked out. Ignored. Still waiting. Is this Instagram support?

I followed every rule and still got locked out of my account.I deactivated it myself to take a break. When I tried to log back in, Instagram claimed I violated the terms. I submitted two appeals, got two reference numbers – and received nothing in return. No help, no reply, no support.Now I get the same error over and over: “An error occurred. Please try again later.”It’s been weeks. Still no access.Honestly, it’s unacceptable that such a global platform can’t support its own users. I feel completely ignored.Please review my case – people deserve better.(Case ref: 734185762343107)
