aol locking customers out of email unless you pay

Well, aol has a new way of making money. Get this, if you haven't used your aol account in some time and try to sign in they will not allow it.Then if you try to reset your password, it will not allow it; which forces you to have to call customer support. Once on the phone with customer support the lie and say that when you set up your account you did not set a recovery method so for them to do it, you have to pay their customer support team to reset it for you.So, basically, they hold your email account hostage until you pay them money, and then they will release it. This was not a 3rd party company, this is aol.I used the sign-in information that I originally set up for the account so I should not have had to contact them. They lock you out if you haven't used it in a little while and will not let you sign in again whether you're using the correct password or not unless you pay them. For principal reasons, I did NOT pay them and explained that this was terrible to treat their customers this way. Beware of what aol is doing and be sure to keep signing into your account from time to time or you will pay dearly to recover it.

Not secure, I used a free trial for a day ,no subscription done, subscription expired on Feb 22nd, and they charged me and they still trying to deduct money from my master card without subscribing, buying or authorizing.!?I wrote a complaint to customer service and no one responded either.

Review as an artist - one of the worst platforms to sell your designs on merchandise. Not only do they rip you off with their new tier charges, they actually just close you down for no apparent reason. Been running a store on here for 3 years and haven’t added a new design for over 8 months and out of the blue they closed my store down for no reason at all. Nothing in my store has changed and everything was running fine. When I appealed they denied it without giving a reason for the shut down. Absolutely disgraceful bunch of greedy thieves, no morals.

Windows 11 - Updates from hell!For 2 months (!) now I basically can´t use my computer, thanks to those great "updates" ...They ´re stealing my time! Who do they think they are? These updates are absolutely crazy! And there ´s no way to avoid them!I ´m gonna switch to Windows XP now. Thank God there ´s no updates no more!

I’ve used hotels.com for years with pretty good results. But now I hate this site and I’m fed up. Since it was sold everything has gone to hell. Cheapskates have ruined the rewards program. Hotel prices are sky high and you don’t know what you’re getting for exorbitant rates. Their interface and search facility are awful too. Impossible. I am no longer going to rely on this site.

It’s just kinda ok

It’s just kinda ok. There’s quite a lot of footage, but not great quality, certainly not comparable with iStock or other big name places. There’s a distinct lack of Asian model content to select from. The Premier and AE templates look good on the site, but are clunky to use, instructions are poor and often grind your system to a halt. Once you’ve downloaded them you have no idea what’s in the pack also - there’s no visual reminder. Why they don’t included the promo video from the site is beyond me. So you’re left with a folder of downloads and you have to just go through and try them all out. You end up spending more time than you would just doing the effects manually! After all the hype I’d heard and all the paid vlogs I watched I’m pretty disappointed to be honest. Won’t be renewing after my month expires. Wish I’d just done the 7 day trial.

Appalling lack of Customer Service

I wanted to return some books to the seller. Ebay sent an automatc return label for the wrong weight which Royal Mail refused to accept. It proved impossible to deal with the matter through ebay to send me the correct label. Their Customer Service is utterly useless. All they want is the money while providing zero support! I had to pay postage myself to send the items back and hope the seller refunds me. Ebay need to get their Customer Servce in order to be able to help people with problems. In this case ebay caused the problem with incorrect postage.

The work was completed and delivered on time last 08/19/2024, meeting all specified requirements and receiving positive feedback on the quality of the work.However, I feel the need to contact you because the agreed payment for my services has not been made, despite my repeated attempts to resolve the situation amicably. The following are the facts:Hiring and Delivery: Last 08/19/2024, I was contacted by Jawedy Smith, who requested my freelance services for the creation of six logos, with the promise of a payment of 1050 USD. I delivered the work within the agreed 24-hour deadline and received confirmation of satisfaction both in writing and by voice note.Payment Process: Subsequently, I was provided with the contact of Stephan Kreisler, supposedly in charge of the finance department of his company, to coordinate the payment. I informed Stephan Kreisler that I have a U.S. bank account in the name of my company registered in Missouri and requested that the transfer be made to that account.Cryptocurrency Imposition: However, Stephan Kreisler insisted that the payment could only be made through a cryptocurrency platform. Despite my reservations and after several insistencies on his part, I proceeded to register on one of the suggested platforms and followed all his directions.Additional Deposit and Loss of Funds: Even so, Stephan Kreisler demanded that I make an additional deposit of 50 EUR in order to process the payment, which I consider an inappropriate and suspicious request. Despite having made a first deposit of 10 EUR in an attempt to receive the funds due, the payment of 1050 USD was never made.This situation is unacceptable, as not only has the payment agreement been breached, but I have also been forced to incur additional losses. I formally request that full payment of 1050 USD be made immediately, using the bank details I have already provided, without further delay or undue conditions.I also urge you to review internally the policies and procedures related to payment management to prevent other professionals from experiencing similar situations.I look forward to a prompt resolution of this matter. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within a reasonable period of time, I will be forced to take the necessary legal action to protect my rights and interests.

Horrendous Shady racist activities within their stores

If it were up to me i wouldn’t even leave one ⭐️ The employees within their Ny/Nj locations are just horrendous!! I have used Zara for about 10 years and this last situation I endured from them was unacceptable!! I got touched by a security guard within the Zara store in Bergenfield plaza Paramus Nj for no reason at all because I was leaving him a complaint, he thinks he could put his hands on my shoulder to demand authority!! I don’t proceed with suing cause what you could possibly get is not even worth the time (1-2k). And just so everyone knows, they hire the same class of ungrateful individuals, in ny/nj I see the same class of people, Arrogant,Ignorant,Rude, no empathy nor customer service skills! Now everyone knows! Don't let your underage kids go to these Zara stores unaccompanied by an adult cause you have Zara security guards pretending they can place their hands on anyone and also yeah they are hitting on girls while on the job despicable shame on you Zara!! You don't deserve a dime from anyone!! P.S. your models are ugly

Asked to cancel an order immediately after placement. Instead, their policy is to send the package across the country only for it to be sent back again - and to hold several hundred dollars of my funds for weeks during that process. Instead of cancelling an order that was “just” placed. This was not a third party seller item. Poor systems, environmentally unfriendly business practice paired with unhelpful customer service. Make sure you verify your order - they won’t help you in any timely fashion, or at all.

I had booked a day tour to go to Sevan in Armenia and the trip had been booked several months before. I heard from the tour operator BFT Group the day before the trip that the tour had been cancelled. I subsequently heard from Get Your Guide who were asking me why I had cancelled the trip. Understandably I hit the roof as I was really looking forward to the trip. I confronted BFT who admitted that they had cancelled the trip. I demanded compensation for my inconvenience and the General Manager Makuna mutually agreed a sum of £40 as compensation. The payment was never made and I was beginning to regret entrusting my Bank details to a company that had been proven to be dishonest. Soso the CEO of the company subsequently contacted me and would agree to send me the money providing that I withdrew my 1 star review on Get Your Guide in advance of receiving the payment as I didn't trust him either I was reluctant to do this. In the subsequent exchange he was very offensive and emotional.

Freepik - the best friend when you need it!

Everyday Freepik is better and better. I started to use it few years ago and i can advocate for my stand about freepik.com.I tried many other similar online services but for price i pay here i can't found any better.And the best thing is they give my wife 3 months free premium account to use images for teaching children in school and to support its videos for online learning at the time of the first Covid-19 lockdown in my country. No enough words to thanks them for that courtesy.

Used to think amazon was great but they are selling a very inappropriate book advertised as a speak n learn book for 3+ years but there is stories from South park about kim kardashians butt and very inappropriate south park songs. (who is it even aimed at?) They wont even remove the listing. Terrible wasted €16 on something my son cant even use.
