Review of coursera
I used a multi-user licence for two years across my team and work. I had numerous complaints of platform performance and their customer support is terrible. Somewhere along the line they opted me in to auto renew. They give no notification of renewals or that payment has been taken and they refuse to allow you to terminate early if you are beyond the 14 cooling off period if you don't intent to renew (which you are unaware as they don't notify you).There are plenty of other platforms that are much better, I urge you to try these first...please don't use Coursera.

Probably the worst online learning service platforms ive ever encountered. Been through countless online service platforms because i love learning about new things platforms and generally have a great experience with most. Not only does Coursera charge for basic tutorials that you can find through Youtube but their customer service is beyond horrible the worst ive ever encountered. Good luck getting a refund there is no way possible to actually talk to a live human being. They leave no number and dont even offer an online chat. Im actually sure that the customer support email is AI generated because they didnt even address my issue just gave me a blank response. After countless emails they eventually just stopped answering me .Never write reviews on anything but i wanted to warn anyone before using that theyre horrible. Dont waste your money try UDEMY they are way better.

Terrible products and service! My chrome book (£553) screen cracked after 41 days and due to customer damage (I didn’t damage it - a claim that had been ignored time and time again) they say it’s out of warranty and therefore I should pay £300 for repair!!! Absolutely disgraceful, they don’t seem to care about their customers at all as they also didn’t mention that there was a £45 handling fee when they asked me to send it off for repair - after initially rejecting my claim!! Of course they won’t discuss anything until you do send it off for repair and then hit you with these fees. Even before the crack in the screen appeared and it lost functionality I wouldn’t have recommended it, it wasn’t user friendly; there’s no caps button, instead it’s the search button plus ctrl so very difficult to use for anything other than watching TV/films and it still can’t handle that without breaking! It’s also taken 11 months for me to have my chrome book held hostage unless I pay £300 or £45...amazed they have any repeat customers at all!

Useless site. I have tried on numerous occasions to comment on a news article, only to find that on "signing in" in order to comment, MSN does not register this, and there's a continuous loop where (in order to post a comment), one has to sign in, only to find that the signing in process doesn't work. This needs to be rectified as it's been going on for some time.

I have had Hulu through a bundled Disney+ plan. 12 months ago Hulu signed me up for a paid subscription in addition to my free one using the same email login and password. I finally caught this 12 months later and they will only refund me for 4 months of a duplicate subscription. The customer service guy I worked with recognized that there isn’t way I should have known but couldn’t help any further. I feel cheated and stolen from by this dishonest company.
