I purchased a pair of Apple AirPods Pro 2 with MagSafe charging case via Bol. I contacted customer service multiple times (three or four times) to request an invoice or any official document that includes the serial number of the product. This is essential for warranty registration, insurance, and as proof of ownership.Despite explaining the situation clearly and citing relevant EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU), Bol refused to provide this information, stating that it is impossible and that they will not provide it. This is both legally and ethically questionable, especially for a high-value electronic item.After posting my review on trustpilot i have received a reply from Bol stating that their invoice corresponds to all the guidelines. However, while the invoice may meet legal requirements, it does not meet the practical requirements for obtaining warranty coverage from Apple or insurance companies—who explicitly require documentation that includes the product’s serial number. This policy of Bol undermines consumer protection in practice, even if it ticks the right legal boxes on paper.This leaves me with a legally purchased product that I cannot register or protect, as if it were bought illegally or second-hand. I urge Bol to review its policy for high-value electronics and provide documentation that actually supports customers’ rights beyond just the legal minimum.As a customer in the EU, I expected a much more cooperative and compliant approach from a major e-commerce platform. I am now forced to escalate the matter to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).Disappointing experience!

Extremely difficult to cancel the subscription. I thought I’d try it for a month but cancelling has proved extremely difficult. You can’t do it online. They won’t accept a request to cancel via email and calling them is time consuming - I haven’t yet got past the queue to speak to someone.

I have made several reviews on this site. All my positive 8-10 star comments remained, however, all my lower than 5 negative comments were deleted without saying what the problem was. Im sure it has to do with their woke agenda, but it seems there is no public, online space for honest opinions anymore. A negative review isn’t suppose to be “nice” IMDB. You will never have honest discussions for film if you silence the true opinions people are having.
