They blackmail their customers.My domain had expired, and I normally have 6+ weeks to fix it before it goes into redemption. Even then, it typically goes back on the market for re-purchase.This time, they auctioned it off almost immediately and now want me to buy it back for > more than $199. I asked two different agents, and neither could explain why this was sold so much more quickly than others. It's still held at Namecheap...go figure.

I opened a savings account at capital one in February 2025. I had questions and called capital one couple of times not long after opening account. Was very satisfied with with a person I talked. Everyone was polite and knowledgeable. Made several transfers. Then, at the end of May did another transfer to capital one. And as of now, 4 weeks later, no transfer. Tried several times to reach by phone somebody - not a chance - you can talk with the machine only. Forget it.

I walked into my local Telstra Shop in Glendale NSW expecting an easy straightforward service. I had an application for taking over an existing mobile number. A staff members told me that my application could not be processed at the shop, that it had to be emailed/faxed to and processed at Telstra's HQ in Melbourne. I believed his advice was incorrect because I followed an advice of my IT colleague who provided me with the application and relevant authority, and who has been dealing with exactly same cases often enough. I did not succeed at Glendale; the staff member simply did not show any interest in my case and dismissed my request. I went home very frustrated and called my colleague for further advice. The next 3+ hours I spent by travelling to and from, by waiting and being served at Telstra Shop in Charlestown. I can report that my colleague was correct and that the Telstra staff member at Glendale Shop was wrong. By the time I returned home I wasted about 5 hours plus travel expenses on something that should have taken me less than 45 minutes at the local Telstra Shop. The remedy is not difficult to come up with, is it?

I bought an power bank using reward point and cash in my previous service with Telstra on Nov 15th 2023 but I haven't received it until today Jan 5th 2024. The Telstra Plus team kept promising and asking me to contact them again 4 times plus so many other separate occasions I have contacted them via phone/chat/store visits but they still haven't resolved and didn't want to provide any replacement for me to use for my work during the waiting period. Customer service was very courteous, professional, helpful and relatively timely (within 1-2 day response times). Product user experience was not as intuitive as I had hoped. Frustrating to find features, controls and settings necessary to have the service meet my firm's needs. Self help online often didn't quite synch or match with the current product / service which led to dead ends in self service problem solving which was frustrating and time consuming. Maintaining synchronization there could save customers quite a bit of time and drive down Dashlane's support costs.
