Works generally ok, but login system is a nightmare

This software seems to be no better or worse than the competitors in terms of GUI/functionality. However the fact that it now works online only via browser is a very bad choice by quickbooks and causes all sorts of major issues you should know about:1. Logging in is impossible unless your registered mobile phone number is working and in signal. Meaning you simply can't get in to quickbooks if out of signal or abroad in a non EU country.2. You can't get any support (live chat etc) unless you're logged in, so nobody will help you with login issues above.3. The option to switch off 2FA authentication is broken so can only login via phone code there is no other way, and support is non existent.4. If you use a vpn or your internet is rather slow, quickbooks will run unbearably slowly.Overall, if you can get a competitor which doesn't require 2-factor authentication, then go with them instead of quickbooks.

Steer clear of this website to avoid utter frustration

I am totally frustrated with this website.I recently made 3 restaurant bookings, I think. I have NOT received any email confirmation, so am not sure.When trying to view my account information to see if these bookings went through, I could not login as I had forgotten my password. I used the 'forgotten password' link to receive an email allowing me to reset my password, but NO EMAIL was received (and yes, I did check in Junk). I tried this several times, but to no avail.I then sent a message via the website, to which I did get an automated response saying someone would get back to me. I am still waiting!

Unauthorised payment taken from my bank…

Unauthorised payment taken from my bank - their T's and C's state that you can have a refund at anytime within a certain time period - Calling them is a waste of time, one representative says one thing and another completey different - on hold for hours, promised call backs that never happen - their system does not recognise the card that they have taken the money from - hopeless company, with non existant customer service - now going the route of filling a claim with my bank to get the charge returned

Same deal as everyone else

Same deal as everyone else- have been a loyal subscriber for a number of years and they just emailed me saying they raising my 100 pounds subscription to 189 pounds - that is almost 100% increase !!!!!Not going to be treated like that especially when they advertising yearly subscriptions from $49 if you not a current subscriber. Again can't unsubscribe via the web interface - it's disgraceful really. Tried on IE and still won't work.

Forced me to call, could have fixed it automatically

My account was hacked and it took 4 attempts to contact someone at PlayStation. No support line available on weekend, no way of recovering my account because the hackers had changed my email. Netflix fixed the problem straight away on a weekend, why can't PlayStation?

Full Review, Developed learning tool.

Since 2020.As for this entry, I am going to mention the brightest aspects of Cengage, Pricing, Study Tools (Book as well), Tests & Quizzes, Mobility inside the web, Security, Customer Service, Longevity of its Servers; and an overall feeling of my experience with Cengage amongst other study tools that I have been asked to use.Pricing;In my experience, around computer applications, and other finance courses, Cengage has offered me a fee of around $50-120, and that gives you a dual access to the book and all the tests and revisions/examples. My course at the moment offers a link to all the tests, so I can access the tests for free, and I managed to get the book somewhere else. Price wise, the service would be pretty good if you were not forced to pay for it for college.Study Tools; In Cengage, you are offered so many tools, and I don't necessarily remember all of them. They've got highlighting, flashcards, custom revisions, book-search, and other fancy tools that if you learnt how to use, it would be like having Microsoft Word but online. The book itself is also pretty easy to navigate through. Test & Quizzes: Most importantly, nearly every question will have a 'show me how', which is a short video of another good instructor solving a very similar question to the one you are currently at. and most of them, if not all, are with English subtitle as well. If you buy the book, you might get access to more than just the tests, but also countless sets of revisions that are not graded but you can use if you needed to improve in a certain chapter or aspect of the course. Cengage gives you the ability to have a complex set of quizzes related to business administration especially, since it is what I am familiar with in Cengage. Which makes studying online on point. Mobility:Pretty easy as to how you can get familiar with the book and how everything is organized, going back and forth from quizzes to chapters is pretty easy as well. Sometimes you are limited the access from getting into the book the same time as you are solving a final, and that might be because you have two Cengage's open at the same time. Security:I would say the site is pretty secure, it has been 3 years for me and I have never encountered any malware that I am aware of. Also, the site uses multiple stages of security, but always remember to delete your credit card's info from any site you are freshly using. Customers' Service: I have came to need them multiple times, because of an issue that Cengage did not recognize my account as a member even after I had paid, and that was because the account I registered with was different from my account on my college's portal, which of course limits me from accessing the tests and creates two separate identities on Cengage. They were very helpful each time I had an enquiry, and when the issue remained for a couple of days, I had my instructor filled in, and it was not a problem for me afterwards. Longevity of its servers: Very rare maintenance periods. Overall, these study tools could take some time from you to understand or even set up, and that lost time might affect your start of the semester/course, if that happens just make sure to contact Cengage and your instructor, and do not feel stressed as you could have been delayed by anything else, so just stay calm and drink some coffee and do what you can Papi. And btw these kind of tools -whether Cengage or another site that gives you the ability to have detailed quizzes online,- are a very nice touch. Anyways, good luck everyone!
