I am a prime member of Amazon and do a lot of shopping almost every day.But recently I had a shocking experience,.I bought a washing machine from them ,it was delivered on time, but it is faulty.Arranged a collection for the following day, was promised it will be in the morning and the driver will give me a call 30 min before he gets there , but of course he came in the afternoon and did not call me in advance ,so I can get there . He rescheduled it for the following day and promised the driver will be here at 10:30z.Went there at 10:30,waited until 12:00,no one turned up ,came home and he called me at 14:00 to say he is outside, I asked him if he can wait for 7min,he said no problem , took me exactly 5min to get there, but of course he had left,.Called customer service again , asked to speak to the manager , and a very rude manager on the other end advised they can. It do anything and just hang up. Shocking experience and very rude manager

Scam! I have had a free account for over a decade, but they have charged me hundreds of dollars for Premium over the past few years without me knowing! I was not aware that I was subscribed to Premium and have never used it. You will notice that their website is designed to make it *unreasonably difficult* to cancel, as well as to trick people into not finishing their cancellation process. **If you try to cancel, make sure the process is complete!!**There really should be a class action lawsuit against this company. There are probably many students getting screwed who can’t afford it, which is truly wrong when college is already insanely costly. I see them in the replies on this page, offering a VERY limited refund, but offering only one refund and only if it is requested in the first 30 days is unacceptable, given the dirty methods they use to trick you into these payments, and how they bury their billing emails in other spammy emails, as others here have described. Nothing less than a full refund of every single payment they have charged to us will be acceptable.I concur with everyone calling Academia.edu a disreputable company. Apparently they got the .edu URL before it was restricted to universities only, so that lends them the appearance of real credibility and integrity without actually having it. Warn your students and colleagues! Teach them instead to use other methods to promote their work, such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, personal websites, social media, and good old fashioned networking at conferences.

I was blown away this morning when I called AAA "Roadside Assistance" (I use that term lightly) to help get me out of a shallow ditch of a county road near our home... I slid sideways trying to get up a hill after some snow. The person on the phone asked "Are you on a paved road?" I told him "No, I am on a county gravel road that goes by our home." He responded with: "We are not going to ask our guys to go off-roading to get you out of a ditch." Unbeliveable! I thought that was the whole idea behind "Roadside Assistnace"! I have been with AAA for 46 years and have not even used their services for the past 30+ years. I would not waste membership fees on this organization. If I could have rated them zero stars, I would have.

Couldn't even go into my BIOS configuration for advanced settings. Wanted to contact their support, but there was NO contact information whatsoever as they did write on their website, rendering them completely useless for customer experience. Not only did I waste precious time for weeks trying to change my HDD to an SSD, but they had hidden their 'Advanced Settings' for "Security reasons". I BOUGHT THE LAPTOP, LET ME CUSTOMISE IT. They did so you could pay a subscription for their support, WHICH DOESN'T EXIST!! Not even to mention their printer, which they make same exchange for in subscription.If I could rate this company by anything! I wouldn't even give them a single star... I am so done with their products! Never buying AGAIN!

The WORST printer I have ever ever had!!!! I purchased a HPLaser Jet M110w and the HP criminals even had me on a subscription for the toner/cartridge. Now that I installed the replacement cartridge HP sent, I get an error message that the cartridge is INCOMPATIBLE with the printer. How does a printer that’s registered on the HP website to their service order the wrong cartridge???????????? If anyone needs an unreliable piece of garbage printer they can find mine in the dumpster

The tracking number showed Friday like a delivery day, but when I checking on Friday, my book was still on the way. My priority filling now, never to have a business with you for future - never again!

Be careful about domain registration via Wordpress. The auto-renew function may not "take" and you will end up being charged for another year even though you have disabled auto renew. An email should be sent to verify so that you have some proof that you have done so. I have gone in circles trying to explain this to their customer service rep.

You find out how good any company's customer service is when things go wrong.... One star for easy booking and the host we ended up with all with no help from VRBO. Reserved 2 months in advance. (First host reserved 4 months in advance cancelled 2 months out) New Host cancelled on us last minute, 12 hours, literally on our way there and boom. Long story including VRBO empty promises to help secure an equal lodging, nothing. VRBO Guarantee to pay up to double original booking amount. 7 weeks dealing with them to get reimbursement with run-around every time we called. To fix this the CEO should be fired. No way to speak with anyone except low level gate keepers that promise they are working on it and will communicate via email in the next couple of days. Pathetic is all I have for these guys. Hope you get a good host if you try them. Afraid to leave my booking number in that I will never get our refund due.

Terrible terrible terrible. Apparently it is somehow my fault that Hulu’s channel guide thinks it’s 2:30 pm when it’s 10:00. The entire guide is blank aside from “There is nothing on at this time” for every channel. None of my other apps have issues … just price of expensive crap Hulu
