BBC Bias

BBC Bias Over recent days, the BBC has shown no coverage of the massive democratic protests and pushback against the US Governments illegal authoritarian regime despite vast public participation across the USA. The picture the BBC is presenting is of business as usual. This is FAR from the truth and as such the BBC is failing it's audience and it's own commitment to fair reporting. Couple this with the BBC’s outsized platforming of Reform and Farage within the UK that is not representative of the size of the party. This is not democratic reporting, this does not match the BBC's own guidelines and as such the BBC is no longer a credible source of balanced political news. I'm done, my licence is cancelled and I intend to pursue this via Westminster if I have to.

Love this program

Love this program! It is extremely user friendly and you can start from scratch or use a template. The only thing I can't figure out is if you can change timing of slides or change the way they transition... but it is still an awesome program that allows you to make professional looking videos fast.

Review of nest

Awful thermostat, awful service.

My Nest second generation learning thermostat was installed at the end of November 2019 and worked fine until a month ago when it stopped working with no warning. Luckily this means it is in warranty. Unfortunately Nest insist on replacing the thermostat piecemeal and being as difficult and drawn out as they can at every stage. I am filled with regret that we ever bought this thing. Update 2nd November: The replacement thermostat turned out to be a “refurbished” unit that had been “refurbished” so thoroughly that it hadn’t even been factory reset from the previous owners. Who I assume sent it back because it was faulty. Lucky us. I have spent hours talking to their customer “service”. They have a super efficient system whereby they create a new case ID every time you have a conversation, duplicating work every time. Currently we have been authorised a new unit but they cannot release it until our previous unit has been received by them. It was only received by them 5 days ago, poor old Google can’t be expected to have the technology to track something that happened a mere 5 days ago though.Update 10 November. Despite being promised a new thermostat two weeks ago, and finally being allowed to order it a week ago, it is “delayed”. They don’t know when it will stop being “delayed”. As someone else here said, I feel like they are gaslighting me. I have wasted hours and hours trying to get this resolved. Next steps: sue for breach of contract, submit a DSAR request and try and persuade a journalist to investigate why a company that was bought for $3bn has the worst (claimed) TrustPilot score I have ever seen.Update 27 April 2022:Congrats to the Customer Service team on responding to my negative review months later. No-one ever responded to my DSAR so I have already submitted a complaint to the ICO for breach of GDPR. Good news: they confirmed that Nest as part of Google are subject to full investigations. You are very welcome.

Fortinet has the worst support of all the time, not only they don't care about anything, but randomly setting false positives. I have domain that doesn't even have website and I didn't send any links to people other to myself while developing email verification. What did fortinet do? They gave us SPAM category and then PHISHING. Get your things fortinet

Review of flipkart

Good experience.

Whatever experience I had with them, was always more positive then negative. I bought a few books from them in the past and was quite happy with the delivery options and availability of titles. Even when purchasing electronics from them, I had no issues with the delivery, the product or even the return of items.Yes, it is hard to get hold of customer care representative (that is why four stars only), but once contacted and communicated the issue - the problem gets resolved relatively easy.

I’m not sure I would even call this a news station they do nothing but straight spread hatred and racism all over the world I’m not even sure how the slime that they call News anchors and reporters hold that Microphone this is unbelievable it’s disgusting to keep the American people scared How are they legally allowed to spread hatred and fake news all the time and people just eat that stuff up because they don’t know any better and are naïve to the situation thus new station is disgusting

I decided to try out brave after hearing so many people talk positively about it.That was the absolute worst decision I could've made, specifically after having just finished installing and setting up a fresh Windows 11 install...The first thing that annoyed me about it is when you open the Settings for the first time you are greeted with crypto wallets and stuff that really shouldn't be part of a browser...When I first installed brave there was no WireGuard VPN service bundled with it, that service was silently installed later by the browser's background update service. I was shocked to see a random icon popping up in my system tray after a reboot, and it was called "Brave VPN". There was now a new entry in the Startup Apps inside the Task Manager called "Brave_vpn_wireguard_service", and there are also 2 new entries in the Windows Services.If you go to brave_browser's github page and check issue #33726, they are blaming the users for having granted admin rights to the installer when prompted by UAC which I never got the prompt in the first place because I have UAC disabled, they are also blaming the users for having enabled the VPN service and claiming that the service would not be running on startup if it wasn't enabled by the user which I didn't because it wasn't there in the first placed when I installed the browser...And when I uninstalled the browser it still left behind all the bloatware that it silently installed on my system, the entry in the Startup Apps in the Task Manager is still there, the "Brave Vpn Wireguard Service" is still there in the Windows Services, it left behind an ungodly amount of registry entries and folders.DO NOT TRY THIS BROWSER BECAUSE OF THE HYPE.If you are concerned about privacy, do yourself a favor and please do not use this browserTry Mozilla Firefox instead.

Review of zillow

Zillow took rent money out of my account, but didn't give it to my landlord

My landlord asked me to set up payment through Zillow so I set up an account and authorized them to take my rent on the first of the month. First off, they did debit my account, but it turns out that they had some kind of issue on the landlord side and ended up canceling the transaction. Here's the thing though, they KEPT MY MONEY. My rent isn't paid, it is now the 12th of the month and Zillow says that they cannot refund my money, that I have to go to my bank and have the bank dispute the debit from my account. The bank says that it now takes 10 business days to resolve the dispute [which is not guaranteed to go my way]. So...to sum up. Zillow debited the money for my rent, did not pay my rent [Zillow very well could have resolved issues with my landlord prior to debiting my account as I set it up with plenty of time for them to do so], and now says via email that there is nothing they can do. Has anyone else had this issue? Zillow will have my rent money for at least 3 weeks before I know whether or not I will get it back. On top of everything Zillow makes it near impossible to speak with a human being about the issue. Zillow is this what customer service has come to? And is it really Zillow's business model to hold money instead of completing my rent transaction? Life is hard enough these days. Zillow...please send me back what is rightfully mine and in the meantime send me a phone number so I can speak to a person about this and get it resolved.

The most unreliable services in the world. Prices are going up and services are getting worse DAILY!!! Waste of life at this point you cannot even go to work!!! Drivers on the underground are ALWAYS late if they are meant to change! I wonder why the strikes are happening! Night tube? That’s a joke they don’t even work !!!!!! Use bus, car or taxis

Unprofessional

Well, I thought I would just throw this in. I went to the Clemmons store the other day. Nice store and they have just about anything you want. That's great but while in the store a woman started yelling at an employee right in front of the customers to see and hear everything. Come to find out this woman was the manager, her name is Janie. I felt so bad for this employee I wanted to say something but I turned and walked out. I could not believe how unprofessional that was. She could have took her to the back of the store or to her office. Extremely rude! I hope she doesn't get away with what she did!
