Gift card not charged (!)

Even though I submitted my gift card number and PIN, the full amount was charged to my credit card in error. It may be the case the content of the fields in which I entered the gift card number and PIN were omitted without my knowledge. However, if so, then the design of the online ordering user interface is inadequate. UPDATE 12/9: My credit card was immediately refunded when I picked up my purchase, and once that was done, I used the gift card as intended.

No longer a positive experience

Been a diamond member since 2016 and recently closed my account. The technical issues have worsened. The level of cheating now is absurd, and yeah you get *some* of it back when they occasionally ban people but it totally throws off your flow. The general support on the site is poor - they screen all their support through an ai chatbot which is awfully designed

Parcel left on doorstep

Really annoyed that the driver left the items on the doorstep in full view of people walking by. Luckily they weren’t stolen this time, although we have had items stolen before. If the driver had the sense to try the porch door or side gate, which are always open it would been a lot safer. Most other delivery people do but not Amazon for some reason and trying to find out how to complain on the Amazon site is virtually impossible 🤬

Usually wrong

For my hill walking exploits I use the Met Office Mountain forecasts and Mountain Weather Information Service (MWIS) forecasts. When there is a difference between the two, the MWIS forecast will invariably prove to be spot on. The Met Office frequently get it utterly wrong. They do an early morning update of their forecasts at around 2am and often make dramatic changes, but it doesn't make them any more accurate. 50 years ago, we used to ring the Met Office (at Dyce), speak to the duty forecaster, and get the weekend's forecast from the horse's mouth. It was usually pretty accurate. How things have changed!By the way, the BBC general forecasts, supplied by Meteogroup, usually give a fairly accurate guide to what the weather in the hills might be like.

Lies, lies and more propoganda lies…

They think people are so stupid with all the lies and untrue propoganda they spew out each day. It's no wonder their viewing figures are the worst ever. You go woke, you go broke! What comes around, goes around and it's just deserves that people are realising more than ever that this station is just a propoganda machine funded by the wealthy to spread lies about everything.

Review of whitehouse

It is a great pity and loss that one…

It is a great pity and loss that one can of past many months no longer contact the President as the average person in the street. Directly to tell him of things concerning one. They've changed the official form of contact to the White House, so that one cannot in fact contact him any longer thorough that online Contact the President form. For years the Petition the President group was able to send things for the President. To tell POTUS of things. From President Trump to President Biden. Now no longer can we. The form itself forbids one's progress through to sending message since the form was re designed earlier on this year.To clarify.. We are the Petition the President group who isn't allowed to Petition or ask anything of Biden I should add. They changed the contact the White House form online earlier this year. So no one could in fact any longer Contact the President through it. As the average person in the street. They updated the form and when they did they added Kamala Harris into it in greater seeming importance than President Biden. You can contact her but not actually POTUS anymore. That's not right!!Inviting people to write to President Biden then making it impossible for them to actually do so. What they actually did instead was make it so one could only write to the Vice President Kamala Harris. They acted against Petition the President group on Facebook groups to stop us, and I assume anyone else, from writing there things directly for the attention of the President some months back ago. When they redesigned the form at White House communications online, so it was possible only to send things to the Vice President Harris. And no longer things to the President. They were doing this before deselecting Biden as their runner for President. Denying him his second term.We weren't stopped for anything untoward or bad or in any way rude or impolite we were doing. All Petitions through that form had not ever been in any way insulting or impolite. We just were suddenly denied rights to in any way write to the President directly via the online Contact the White House form. For no reason. Though it still then falsely claimed there that 'anyone could write to him to tell him things we wanted the President to know or be aware of.'

Corrupt Money Thieves

Has anyone ever had an issue with Playstion charging your account without notice ? I purchased a game for my husband October 2021. I did not sign up for anything else but to purchase a game. A year later about 2-3 months ago I get a charge on my checking account for a unauthorized sale. So I tried to call their customer support line. With about 20 calls and no answer or call back from adding myself to the call back list I decided to call my bank and have it disputed. My bank worked willingly with me to make sure the charges would never appear back. Well me and my husband just moved and we hardly ever plug it up anymore but his account was banned. I’m just trying to figure out how you can ban an account when your a major company who charged a debit card without consulting with the owner of the debit card. Asking for shares and to tag PlayStation for their actions. I have tried calling them to this day and get hung up on. It’s very frustrating💁🏼‍♀️

Like pulling teeth

I dealt with 2 reps. I believe what I had was a very simple issue pertaining to how I can receive emails from my domain name. This could have been taken care of in 10 minutes over the phone but I spent hours over chat. Both reps over chat were fine, we eventualIy got my concern resolved and don't have an issue with them but this company doesn't offer phone support. Had I known I would have chosen to go with someone else.

A company that blatantly allows videos to be posted of animal abuse, and when reported says it doesn't transgress their "community guidelines" is a company that needs to be avoided and tbh shut down. What a sick twisted set of people that must run it.

Only one shade of Grey

Jaina Grey should be fired immediately. He's too one-dimensional and biased to do game reviews. We don't need this agressive trans toxity bs in gaming. We try to ecape clown world problems in games but he insists to make everything political. Wired should hire someone more competent, like a toaster or something.

5 Billion Dollar Company Expects Customers to Pay for Their Mistakes

This company is currently worth 5 billion dollars, yet they think their customers should foot the bill for their mistakes.I ordered curtains that arrived 5.5 whopping inches shorter in length and 4 inches shorter in width than advertised. When I informed them that I was gipped, I was told to mail them back on my dime. Again: Urban Outfitters is worth 5 BILLION dollars, yet when they don't send me what I ordered I have to pay and be out MORE money? I already paid for the curtains, the taxes, shipping and the duties—it is now their responsibility to get me the right item. My responsibility ends at giving them money for the purchase, and under zero circumstances will I take time from my insanely busy life to re-package the wrong item, drive all the way to the post office in city traffic, wait in line, and pay my money to return someone's literal mistake. If I can show you proof that you sent me the wrong item, then you can pay for the mistake of your multi-billion-dollar company and its employees. Thinking customers should pay for your mistakes is revolting in every way, and will tank this company fast.Have a look online about how when UO sends you the wrong items (literally people are ordering clothing and getting sent fake plants instead, and other random stuff they never ordered!) they expect you to pay to send them back—and if you don't, they charge what card you used to make your order). Here's a tip UO: Those people you hire to man the phone lines, and the ones you outsource to paste their scripts into the chat feature, wouldn't be needed nearly as much if you didn't try to steal people's money for your mistakes. I bet a huge % of the chats and calls are people complaining that you're sending the wrong items and making them pay to return them or threatening that you'll charge whatever card they have on file if not. If you're so desperately in need of money ('cause a 5 billion dollar worth isn't enough), then you could cut costs by just not falsely advertising measurements, training employees to send the right items, and, when a mistake does happen, as they do, telling the customer, "Sorry for sending the wrong item; you may donate it and we will refund you or send the right one." This will in turn make that person come back and spend loads more money due to their comfort levels with the company, too. How is this hard to grasp? Trust sells!Greed always sorts itself out, though. You'll surely get yours. Good luck!
