Shopify is stealing my money !!!

I started an online store with shopify in the beginning of February 2023 and I was using shopify payments to accept payments from my customers. After 1 week of advertising and 1000£ in sales, they decided to block my account. Now I don't have access to my store informations, my orders, my customers details. I can not refund the payments to my customers, and I can not even ship the lasts orders. In addition to this, they never sent me my money, it has been placed in reserved. I tried to contact them by email several times to have more information about this reserve to know when I can expect the money to be paid, but they never even replied to my many emails. This company is fraudulent don't deal with them. If someone from the shopify team is ready this review, please contact me to fix this problem as soon as possible. If you don't fix this problem I will have to contact my lawyer. Thank you in advance for your help !

Instead, they sent me a generic link to their rules, claiming I 'pose a threat to the community,' and permanently banned me from reopening my account. This platform is the epitome of absurdity!

I entrusted ChatGPT with what seemed like a straightforward translation task—translating the Bible story sections of a 5-day VBS guide from English to Simplified Chinese. Sounds simple, right? Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating.For three days, I’ve been waiting for progress that barely moves forward. Instead of delivering the full translation promptly, ChatGPT kept giving me partial, repetitive drafts. It felt like going in circles—asking for format confirmations over and over, only to see no real progress. When I requested just the core Bible story translations (excluding crafts and games), the response was still painfully slow.What should have been a quick, reliable service turned into an exercise in patience. The final delivery was piecemeal, incomplete, and far from the professional standard I expected.If you are relying on ChatGPT for important translation work, especially under tight timelines, be prepared for delays and repetitive back-and-forths. It simply did not live up to expectations or meet a reasonable standard of efficiency.I hope this feedback helps others make informed decisions. For now, I’m left wondering how such a powerful AI can struggle so much with a seemingly simple translation task.

Usually it works well

Usually it works well. As I use the free service, that's quite a benefit. However several attempts to send images to an address in Australia have been unsuccessful; one of the latest was delivered to the addressee's spouse's email, who knows how? It's very annoying that I can't find out how to ask WeTransfer what I've done wrong, or how to correct it. Perhaps it's a coriolis effect.

Pinterest used to be my happy place - not now

Pinterest used to be a source of inspiration - now it's a shopping platform and not a good one. It's filled with bots inflating the rankings of business accounts. My home feed is flooded with poor quality, unattractive images. Often subjects I'm not even interested in. For some bizarre reason the algorithm thinks I'm into workout videos, crochet and weight loss.I never used to mind the adverts provided they were relevant. Now even genuine advertisers get crowded out by all the spam. They need to fix it before all the "real" users leave and it's just spammers spamming each other. It's like opening a copy of Vogue magazine and finding the Argos catalogue inside.

This business is the absolute worst.I had a company email registered to an account. Unfortunately the business closed and disabled the business emails so I no longer had access to it and was unable to login to loom because I had used the gmail account to connect to the service.I emailed this company on multiple occasions and have NEVER gotten any response from their support group. Meanwhile they have continued to take $15 from my account every single month.This is the absolute worst business I have ever had to deal with.

I added £10 to my account and not able…

I added £10 to my account and not able to purchase anything with that, as they system is faulty. I asked for a refund then but they said I am not eligible. The thretened me that if I ask them again they will block my account. Microsoft ripped me off and there is no customer support to sort out the issue. Horrible customer service. I am going to cancel all subscriptions with them and will never use their software. Haw can you treat you customers like that???

I messed up my subscription renewal and thought I would miss out on their Christmas special offer subscription with free champagne. It was sorted efficiently and politely. Very impressed. Love the content for a realistic view of the world
