I made a purchase worth more than 1000 euros and my account was blocked!! They asked me to provide confirmation that the card used to make the payment belongs to me! I sent several documents from the bank, where the transaction, card number and several times my first and last name are visible. But Amazon couldn't SEE my name there! This is the lowest level of service I have ever encountered
I ordered 2 items from this company. They sent me a message saying that the items were damaged in transit and would be 2 days late arriving. When the order was delivered only one of the items arrived. I asked where the 2nd item was and received no messages from them. Silence prevails. Won't be using them again.
Amazon took my order and the money. No delivery and no answer to my request why the item was not delivered ! A the end amazon tell me that they cannot deliver the item because the address was not in France. They asked me to cancel the order and wait 7 before I get back my money. I never see that in my life after 56 years !! No more respect for people in our days, human is just a cash machine with bank number card for ID
Why making thing easy when you can make them extremally complicated. I guess this is the Amazon Policy.For shopping, everything is fine. But when you move from one country to another one...OMG, it's like a pin in the a....You simply can't, even if you have an address a bank account...in your new country...THe only solution is to delete your previous Amazon account and create a new one in your new country...Seriously...And most of the time you even can't chose the delivery day. Sometimes you don't want the next day, by example but the end of the week....At least it should be option...
Ordered a Amazon Kindle for $106.00 received product but would not let me set it up. Contacted Customer Service for a return. Notified by email pick up by UPS. Called Customer Service and said I was leaving the country for month of August and was told UPS would come in two days. I asked what happens if UPS doest come for pickup return and I have left the country could I return it when I come back. Basically was told tough luck because policy says you have to be home. UPS is notorious for not showing up for picks when ordered by a vendor and Amazon was unwilling to let me drop off return to UPS office one block away.
Simply the worst customer disservice I've received anywhere. When I reported not receiving a package, I was sent a Policy WARNING which threatened to revoke my account. Wont matter if they do, I'll never buy anything from them again. Lost 100 Euro but learned aa valuable lesson. Total rip off! Horrible. Stay away.
Amazon.fr are systemically incompetent. As a UK customer I love Amazon.co.uk but I needed to buy an item on the French site. Debit cards were rejected so I paid by BACs/Swift transfer on Amazon.fr. Payment was approved and the product delivered. A week later I bought a similar product with the same payment process. 2 weeks later my account is locked as the payments were rejected. My account was locked in both in France and in UK account. It has taken me 3 weeks to sort out with international wire transfers to pay the sums rejected by Amazon's bank. Amazon have been useless at communications, and are unable to discuss issues on the phone. they only deal by sending emails with no channel for reply. I will never use again
