Title: Amazon fails to take legal responsibility for lost parcelOrder placed on Amazon France for a gift to be delivered within the EU. The parcel was never delivered. After raising a complaint, Amazon responded by claiming the package was “stolen” and asked me, the customer, to file a police report.This is unacceptable and goes against consumer protection laws. According to Article L.216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the seller is solely responsible for ensuring the delivery of goods and must handle any issues that occur during transport. Asking the customer to take on this responsibility is both unlawful and unfair.Despite being a global leader in e-commerce, Amazon refuses to uphold basic legal obligations. Instead of resolving the issue, they shift the burden onto the buyer — a tactic that shows disregard for consumer rights.Extremely disappointed. I expected much better from a company of this size and reputation.
I ordered a €266 item from Amazon.fr. While I was on vacation, the delivery person faked my signature and marked it as delivered. I provided proof of my absence, but Amazon refused any refund — and even refused mediation.This is not just poor service — it’s covering for fraud.I’ve lost trust completely. Be careful if you expect Amazon to protect your rights. Never again for me. Shame amazon
I have been charges three times or four times for transactions on Amazon more than 10 days ago.Amazon replies are inconsistant with what they prétend (answer within 6 hours, answer within two business days) and you have to keep sending messages and still get no answer. Issue is still not solved and they havent sent me the confirmation I need for my crédit card institution. Disappointing
I ordered a 350 Euro Table Tennis table from Amazon france on the 28th of May 2025. They were supposed to deliver it a week later. On the 6th of June they said it was being delivered. We waited in all day It didnt happen but tracking said they would try again. Tracking still says they will try again now the 14th of July. "Wheres my stuff" sends you to the haulier that refers me to tracking. I spoke to the manufactuer who referred me to Amazon. Its just a loop with no humans. I did manage to get a human in Amazon UK (where I live) and they referred me to Amazon France. So today I will go onto my credit card company and try and get the payment cancelled.
Constant payment issues. Been a French prime customer for many years but recently have had payment issues, i.e. card declined although it had been debited and cleared by my UK Bank. Messaged and phoned Amazon to ask what the problem was, they said it was our UK bank declining the payment, but it wasn't. Amazon have cancelled 3 separate orders for delivery to our french holiday home, all for no apparent reason. Really annoying - shall be cancelling Prime membership as no point in having it
