Negative reviews are loads of bullshit.I have been a customer since over ten years now and the only couple of issues I'd was with either non-delivered shipments marked delivered - which were refunded - or only twice with third parties. Just saying, the employees not delivering have been finally kicked (and it wasn't even Amazon employees to begin with) as they were stealing shipments and it was finally discovered - it went even into news headlines.Now, I try to avoid third parties which do not use Amazon delivery if it ain't big known companies - else, I triple check the reviews of said vendor/sender.Once, I'd to report a third party vendor (chinese) which tried to scam a family member asking for additional private transport fees meanwhile product was listed with no shipment fees.Amazon is nothing else than a Marketplace which also sells their own products or third party products. Their are lots of different suppliers from around the world. Before you leave a negative review, just check what you are buying and from whom.The Amazon Support has been so far amazing and has dealt with every situation I'd to deal with.Refund has been always processed in 5 days after the shipment was returned.There is basically nothing I don't buy there: shoes, socks, iron, ironing board, keyboard, mouse, phone, books and even masks. And tell me where to buy ginger beer if not on Amazon?You can't find any useful stuff in local markets anyway as they don't have any stocks anymore and if you do accountancy, you know that most of them buy at least some stuff from Amazon anyway, even if it is your local pharmacy or grocery store.
Catastrophic !Very poor and weird customer service. They are not tired not to solve a problem. For the products by third party suppliers, they don't provide support at all.I contacted their customer service service and the vendor several times, without any solution. They don't care and find a solution.For the products not sold by Amazon the service quality is definitely lower than the products they sold or send directly. However, there is no indication that there is a difference in service quality and that we can experience problems more frequently than the products Amazon sells on its own. That is deception of the Client.Also there is always a problem with the products which are ordered from Germany, but always. Either the postal services write the address wrong and they don't deliver the product but pretend so.
Save your time and money !!! 3 deliveries all cancelled by the Amazon courier, I had to wait in each time to then be told ‘cancelled’ after the specified time. And have to wait 10 days for the refund.Better and cheaper to buy elsewhere, we never have issues with Amazon UK
Totally hopeless support - I bought a Delonghi Dehumidifier displayed as 11 in stock and 3 days delivery time. When I received the order confirmation it said delivery in 3 months. So I called support and they said it was an error - “you will have it in less that 72 hours” and they wrote an e-mail to confirm this. However the following day the product was still not dispatched so I called again. This time they said a supervisor would call me in less than 2 hours - 4 hours later nobody called I got on the chat and got transferred 15 times without any meaningful support or resolution so I finally cancelled the order. Even though the product is still displaying at Amazon.fr as in stock and 3 days delivery. I have been a pretty good customer at Amazon for many years, but I guess it is time to move on - My worst customer service experience in 2024 - if not ever.
When they Decide to Use a third party to Deliver Their Product and Not Help, The Customer to benefit from the Service They Paid to receive, They Ultimately deserve to be Treated the way They Treat Us.Amazon, use drop box and Often get burglarize, They Way too often decide to Wait a Week to begin the customer Refund process. What has become of Amazon is nothing short but The Begining of their demise. They Are No Longer relevant, Other Company ( Online Retailer ) Are way better. Do not give Amazon any money, They deserve the same treatment as Ubisoft ( need to be Ignored and going bankrupt ) They Are Trash treating Customer like Trash.
Disaster ! I wonder what kind of KPI the logistic Amazon France has as performance review. Ordered an item, initially said delivery to Switzerland in March 2025 (OMG). I had 5 days of chats with their customer service , change the address to France at a point de retrait to have the item shipped back to Amazon, after telling to 10 different customer service representatives I NEED the item, they refunded me fully even after I said several times I don t want a refund and I really need the product. It increased the price by 100 EURO then asked me to pay for shipping, even if initially I had free delivery in France. Extremely badly managed processes and lack of supervision. DISASTER! I will never buy from Amazon France EVERE AGAIN. I wonder if I should bother escalating the matter or just let it go and never purchase from the again. Finally, found the product in Amazon DE , cheaper and with free delivery. :-)
In respect of AMAZON UK It is so sad, in many ways Amazon is a good company, but you have made it almost impossible to get customer services when there is a problem.Also since you have started to outsource your deliveries to third parties, your deliveries have become lazy and incompetent.Once you reach Amazon Customer Services, the team is usually charming and helpful, so no complaint in that respect; but what is the point if you cannot get your deliveries delivered?After about 25 years of being a dedicated Amazon Customer I am now looking to other more reliable suppliers.
