Review of dsw

DSW has been "processing" my order for…

DSW has been "processing" my order for almost a month. I emailed to ask what was happening, and I got a response: "So you would like to cancel." I said nothing about canceling my order. I want the shoes I have ordered. You are a shoe company; why is it so hard to do what you advertise? Honestly, if it is this complicated to get shoes, I will order them from another company. Saving a few dollars is not worth the headache. Clearly, by many of these reviews, DSW has become a terrible company to order from online. The customer service is a complete JOKE; you call, and they need help understanding what you are asking, and I need help understanding them. Save yourself the headache, spend the extra money, and get shoes from a trustworthy company.

Review of booking

Fine. Until something goes wrong.

Things are fine until something goes wrong. Recently, I booked three hotels for a holiday. One was terrible and not as described on the site. I immediately contacted customer service for help and had a terrible experience. I had several nonsense conversations in which staff were obviously reading from a script and unable to do anything, and then I gave up and paid for a whole new hotel. When I wrote a balanced and honest review of the hotel I'd had the bad experience with, the review was posted, but the hotel owner asked for it to be removed and it was - without consultation with me. I won't be using them again, as I would prefer to use a service where owners are held to account.

Totally inaccurate as usual

Weather prediction what a joke, have seen on the website forecast changes by the minute, the other day it said 37 mph gusts , gust was over 60 mph , what is the point of funding a completely inaccurate company, better looking outside you will get a more accurate forecast

Happy Christmas Lego - Sad sign of the times!

All my dealings with Lego have been excellent, bought a number of sets directly from them with no issues whatsoever. Free delivery is almost as fast as expedited in some cases also! People leaving negative reviews after chancing their luck with a code mean't for internal use then complaining when the order is cancelled is just plain sad. Yes it's nearly Christmas, if you need the money that much don't spend so much trying to exploit an error. Hope all your sad picture faces are ready for the paper! Well done Lego, take as long as you can and enjoy the interest!

Review of bol

Got caught in their "Pay Later" scheme.

I ordered an 16 euro item that cost me 42 because I didn't know it was set for "pay later". I thought it was paid for. I received the receipt and two messages, they all ended up in spam. Until today when amazingly one showed up in my inbox. 8 months later. And a 16 euro item is now at 42+ euros due to their fees. And I certainly didn't want this "feature". BOL had my payment on file. They made no real attempts to contact me, or send reminders. They never sent me a physical message in the mail. They wouldn't reverse the late fees. Will not be using this site again. Absolutely terrible. Not to mention they're extremely expensive. I went back looking for the pay later feature, and STILL could not find it. So I can only surmise they are putting it in some checkbox somewhere, or hidding it. I suspect they're sending emails without a properly configured DNS, so they end up in spam. So feel free play the BOL.Com lottery!MOST companies will make exceptions if their interface is the cause of an error. Bol certainly doesn't. So please, at the very least, when shopping on BOL.com, do not RUSH to push that "Buy" button. Take your time, and make sure you really want it and ALL things are correct. And thus, BOL.com has just, successfully, made you hesitate when buying. This sounds like a terrible business descision on their part, but to each their own. They certainly lost a huge amount of business from me, earned themselves a unhappy customer, and a negative review. To think, they only got 26 euros for it. I buy things ALL the time online (think tens of thousands each year), which is part of the reason I missed it, and I've never been treated like this. I will choose to do my business with others next time who take care of me and makes sure I'm getting what I want.

Review of zillow

Zillow's IT is so bad it easily allows fraud

Someone by the name of Denver is claiming to be the owner of the property at 3944 Woburn Drive, Tucker, GA 30084 on the Zillow.com site. Zillow's interface sucks. Anyone can come on and "claim" a property and try to sell it even if they are not the agent for the property. I am posting this on behalf of the owner who does not know how to use technology and I am one of his assistants.

Review of target

Cute products, but at what cost?

Yes it's a fun shop full of cute items, but they no longer prioritise American values.Target chose to pull its DEI policy, so I'm choosing to pull my hard earned money from their profits. As a human who cares about my community I am going to shop local, and support brands who support equality, diversity, and inclusion. These are American values regardless of what the greedy few at the top might think.Target do better.

Review of lyft

No customer service

No customer service number, per the latest trend in innovative ways to avoid accountability. And when I tried to make a complaint online, the site just kept spinning. Apparently they don't want to hear it. So, I'll just tell everyone else. When the driver showed up, he didn't even verify who I was. So I told him my name. He barely nodded, and said that he was on the phone with his brother. It was pretty obvious he was on the phone, since he had the speaker on and was in a loud conversation for the ENTIRE ride - about 30 minutes. He didn't even acknowledge me when I thanked him. VERY. RUDE.And I have NO respect for businesses that don't provide customer service. Which is a LOT of businesses these days. And none of them get my money anymore. I'll pick up my own food, ride the bus, make my own clothes, etc. before I put up with BS like that. Paying customers deserve better!

Trapped in a Subscription!

Like many others, I'm unable to unsubscribe from their service. Their website has no option, and you're forced to interact with a chatbot that refuses to cancel your membership. I had to cancel the payment through my bank, which was a task in itself. Although I've enjoyed the content from The Economist, the cancellation process has led me to view them as a corrupt and pseudo-illegal company. Buyer beware!

Review of americanexpress

AMEX doesn’t protect individual cardholders

We had a terrible experience due to Expedia's false advertising and misleading booking practices, which cost us $1300. We purchased AMEX insurance for the booking, but when we contacted AMEX about the issue, the representative, “Himani,” rejected our dispute. It’s clear now that AMEX doesn’t protect individual cardholders like us but rather sides with large merchants like Expedia. This experience has shown us that AMEX is not genuinely committed to protecting its small customers against deceptive practices.

They are brilliant when things go well

They are brilliant when things go well. But I have had a number of let downs over the last few months and their customer service is the worst ! Put in 2 complaints and heard nothing. Waited in all day for a parcel due today, not even despatched and live chat talked broken biscuits. Seriously considering cancelling my Prime and going elsewhere.

Google business profile is undoubtedly…

Google business profile is undoubtedly a great tool every business needs and enjoy using. However, the random suspensions put our livelihoods at jeopardy because of your dominance in this market . I had an ugly experience trying to reinstate my GBP. Was given the run around for months until I finally got help from maps.product.expert g m ail c o m a private Google expert . His process took 2 weeks for profile to go live. It’s been permanent for 4 months now and I’m super happy to be fully back in business . I can continue to service my loyal clients .
