Review of eventbrite
I have used eventbrite for years but no kore. I set up 4 hokiday events yesterday like I always do. I set them up the same way as a $15 ticket. 3 of the events were then listed as free. With NO WAY to reach a human, I deleted the events. Eventbrite usually makes $500/event off of us. Having access to email support without upgrading my package would have been good for then.

I was charged for an annual premium plan after a $1 trial without clear warning. There was no reminder email before or after the charge, and canceling was confusing. When I requested a refund, they refused—even though I canceled right after noticing the charge. It feels dishonest and tricky, like they’re using the $1 trial to trap users. Very disappointing for a platform that claims to support the academic community.

Two hours wasted with customer service today trying to resolve why my thermostat wouldn't connect to wi-fi and heat link. First thermostat lasted 6 months which developed the exact same fault. They agreed to replace the thermostat after less than a 30 minute chat. They don't want to know this time. Apparently it's because my "heat link is too close to the boiler", but the heat link has been working perfectly fine for the past 2.5 years... It's the thermostats that are at fault. They won't do anything else until I get an electrician to move the heat link. And if it doesn't solve the issue then I'm out of pocket and they refused to replace the thermostat again. Tried to escalate the issue but the manager refused to speak to me. I'm possibly out of warranty, but they haven't told me that. And now they're ignoring emails. For something that costs near enough £200, surely you'd expect better quality and for a fundamental component to last a lot longer than 2 years!

Useless and a waste of taxpayer money. A fraudulent company set up a fake profile with my personal details, I complained and was told that it would take at least three months even to look at the complaint. They are as toothless as Jaws after the explosion and the money paid to this hapless set up should be paid to the NHS and social care instead.

If I could give zero stars I would. Life long sports fan.... but I’m done with it all. I’m a hard core conservative but I do respect the lefts view on things. Just not in sports. They are playing a game it is a way for us all to get away from politics. ESPN has become the new CNN communist news network. I canceled my nfl Sunday ticket refuse to watch football anymore and the hardest was to stop watching espn because these new age idiots are more concerned with making a name for themselves and talking about there own political views not the sports. Same goes with these over paid athletes bunch of millionaires that think we want to know what their views are. I can’t wait in 5 yrs for them asking me can I take your order. So so happy ESPN is losing money. Shows you what we ever watched it for. The SPORTS.....

Don"t use Agoda at any point. I booked & fully paid for a motel in Svolvaer, Norway. When i reached at Svolvaer,I realised that motel is located not in Svolvaer. It's about three and half hours drive from Svolvaer city centre. I try to contact Agoda customer support. But there customer support was not accepting my claim.Anyway i contacted the the motel staff directly and shared my worries. She was happy to refund the whole money with the consent of Agoda. Otherwise she will be charged. I paid 350AUD for couple of nights. Till now I don't have any updates or refund for me. I used this Agoda for the first time in my life& never going to use it anymore. Agoda is not even allowing the customer for a proper platform for lodging a complaints

We brought a telly that cost £2,400 just over two and half years ago .firstly they sent us 2 tellies and charged us twice , we were then told to register our telly on screen when it came to claim 5 year warranty .After 7 months the screen went they fixed it ,after another 8 months screen went again had to wait another 2 weeks for it to be fixed and now after 12 months it has gone again and Samsung won’t do a thing about it saying we never registered our warranty absolutely disgraceful company would not recommend them to anyone their products aren’t fit for purpose Not

My account was hacked in November of 2023, $5k was stolen out of my account. I had alerts set up on my phone when the initial funds were transferred out of my account and I immediately locked the account and called customer support to report it. Then after I locked the account there was $877 left in the account. This is now 16 months later and I just logged into my account and there is $4 in there. I contacted Coinbase and they sold off the remaining crypto because the bank refunded me a few hundred dollars of the money that was stolen because of Coinbase refusing to handle the situation appropriately. Beware of this company as they will not be responsible for hackers getting into your account. Not only will they not be responsible, they will sell off your crypto and steal it themselves.
