Review of kickstarter
Kickstarter has devolved into a front for scammers seeking to take advantage of legitimate startups that built the platform. If you know the company creating a campaign and know for sure that it has a solid track record, then Kickstarter is ok, but since Kickstarter does not provide any avenue for dealing with outright scammers, it's becoming a scammer magnet. Avoid it... join the other creators who are moving to other crowdfunding platforms for your crowdfunding needs if you're looking at crowdfunding.
Review of domestika
SCAM ALERTI woke up this morning to find a $129 charge on my account for an annual subscription I never knowingly signed up for.I had only intended to purchase a €0.99 course, but Domestika sneakily bundled an annual subscription without clear consent — not even a monthly plan, but a full year upfront!Really disappointed & bad experience, please take care from your side if you intend to buy courses on Domestika

Review of agoda
I booked hotel through Agoda. There was a problem with hotel. Manager acknowledged and confirmed the complimentary refund. Agoda used another company to do booking. Traveloka. Agoda charged from my credit card. I provided all the evidences from hotel. hotel was very kind for providing their computer screen shots. Agoda blame unresponsive Traveloka. There is a fraudulent transaction going through Agoda. Basically hotel doesn't get money. Agoda not refund me. Where is the money goes???? Agoda failed Compliance, rules and regulations. Probably involves money laundering. It is financial crime. I will chase until culprits get the necessary punishment by UK law.

Review of venmo
I would give them zero stars if I could. Venmo is an unreliable institution that doesn’t value customers or their most valued asset: money. They don’t have adequate fraud protection in place. They will steal a stranger’s money if it accidentally goes into an account with a negative balance. They justify their thievery and will take your money any chance they get. I’m currently working with a lawyer who resolves small claims situations with Venmo because there are NO resolutions with Venmo or attempts to resolve issues with customers. They give you one resolution: the customer MUST cover any fraudulent charges on the account if they neglected to click the toggle switch that insures against fraud… which a customer won’t know until they learn the hard way after having been frauded. It is absolutely not OK for Venmo to steal funds from Customer B when they mistakenly make a payment into the wrong account of Customer A, simply because Customer A has a balance in their account and Venmo refused to close Customer A’s account to avoid such errors. Venmo is a greedy thieving company with ZERO regard for customer satisfaction, gaslighting customers in saying customers don’t agree to their resolutions….which is because their resolutions hold customers responsible for the fraud of criminals!Google Blake Thomas, Attorney at Law, for legal assistance with Venmo.
Review of tripadvisor
My first time using trip advisor on holiday and was rudely presented with many horrific scenarios which has put me off using this service ever again.I will list the issues below for everyone’s awareness on why the service should not be trusted.- booked tickets to a chocolate workshop and on my confirmation email it did not provide a valid location or time of activity - On confirmation email the address took me to the wrong location- Once at the wrong location we were directed by another company to the correct one which made us around 25min late - Once entering the right location we were rudely handled and escorted out the premises because the lady refused to let us join the activity even though we paid- They told us we would of received a message from WhatsApp with all the details for our booking. This would of been great if they had a field to enter my phone number on the form. So when I explained it was impossible for me to gain a WhatsApp message as the booking never allowed me to enter this option let alone inform on how the information will be sent to us- They then locked the door and prohibited us gaining any support in the matter when they know we are FOREIGN!- I ask for a refund online as we were denied our right to our payment of service which would be normal in any circumstances. Yet we were denied our right to get our money back when we were denied access to the service we paid forIn summary please be careful with this website as they don’t take your poorly managed experience from the companies they sign up with into account and will take take your money for free. This is a scam where measures should be put in place to support the customers in unnecessary situations as these. If you pay for a service you are entitled to using that service.

***THIS HAS BEEN EDITED***I found out that The Telegraph had been charging me double for my subscription for 6 months. Ok, hands up I did not see it for 6months but I was not looking for it as I didn't think I'd need to - but PLEASE check your bank account.. I was told if you have an Apple device it may hidden relay email on which could make a duplicate account. For some reason my account made two exact accounts when I subscribed for the first time. When I asked for them to look into it they said it was a glitch in the system (and was not common - READ DOWN THESE REVIEWS) and I could not have my money back as I had made two accounts and that was Policy. They would not refund me for the 2nd account that was open at the exact same time on the same day. After writing a 1 star review on Trust Pilot (which I have now edited) I was contacted by a senior member of the team (thank you Warren) who looked into the case and I did get a refund for the 2nd account. This does seem to be an iCloud/hide my email glitch - so if you do have that function on your phone - do check your subscription and contact the Telegraph for them to sort out.

"I purchased a SIM card from Aldi in Germany. The card couldn't be activated because the person handling it in the app did not accept my German ID. When I attempted to return the card, the store refused to take it back. Aldi Talk discriminated against me and retained my money. In response, I wanted to alert fellow foreigners and posted multiple reviews on Google Maps. Surprisingly, Google removed the posts. It appears that Google supports those who discriminate and take advantage of foreigners."
