ASUS Customer Service and Chromebook Warranty - BEWARE

This Chromebook has been nothing but a nightmare. I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. Six weeks later it wouldn't charge. I sent it back to ASUS as the Source wouldn't provide a new unit since it was over 30 days from purchase. I received the Chromebook back from ASUS after the repair but there was no documentation indicating what repair had been done. I found out later that it was the motherboard. The Chromebook lasted another two weeks and again wouldn't charge. I called ASUS and they asked me to send it in again. At this point I was very frustrated and asked that the Chromebook be replaced. They said they'd escalate it to "corporate" for a resolution. In the interim I sent the Chromebook in to be repaired. Today I received and email from a customer service specialist and he indicated to me that since this this is the second repair it's against their policy to replace the unit. I find this unbelieveable that as a consumer I'm being penalized for what is obviously and inferior product. I've consented to the repair as this seems to be my only option other than having the defective Chromebook returned to me. I've asked that my complaint be escalated even higher. I would not recommend an ASUS product. Consumer beware. ASUS - in Search of the Incredible. We aspire to deliver the incredible in everything we do." Just words. This company is still searching as they have far from an incredible product!

Review of vrbo

VRBO is my last resort…

VRBO is my last resort vacation planning. #1 reason is that VRBO prevents direct communication with the host and restrict it to filtered messages through their platform only. This a huge impediment for international travel. #2 checkin information is available only 3 days before arrival, which is a problem while traveling internationally. If there is an issue with your booking, yes it does happen, you lost valuable time in being able to address it. #3 when booking failures happen, yes they do, VRBO leaves it to you and the host to resolve. I also used to be a host and hated VRBO heavy handed relationship. I hope VRBO would only broker booking and step out of the way because they lack the commitment to either the host or the traveler and consequences can be very high. Please allow direct communication choices to suit host-guest circumstances NOT VRBO massaging.

Review of homeadvisor

Homeadvisor Comes Through Again

I had used Homeadvisor in the past and was pleased with the recommendations provided. After defining the scope of work, I was provided with three firms that perform the type of service I required. I received quick responses from two of the firms and was provided with price quotes for consideration after discussing the proposed scope of work with them. I went with TRG Tree Service after evaluating the proposals.

Facebook is an ultra liberal media site that filters and punishes conservative comments. The ‘moderators’ who review your posts are not interested in free speech or other points of views than what the great ZUCKERBERG deems opposite his views.

Review of wpforms

Excellent support

The reason I write this today is due to the quality of the support team. They respond relatively quickly, usually within a few hours, and their assistance is detailed and practical, especially for advanced customisations. This level of support is beneficial for those who need additional help in tailoring forms to specific requirements. Overall, WPForms provides the necessary features and support to effectively enhance a WordPress site and I would (and do) recommend it to others.

Review of mercari

My Mercari purchase literally stinks.

I bought 3 small Prada bear bag charms as a special Christmas present for my younger sister; she collects bears. The items were preowned so I wasn’t expecting new condition. I didn’t expect them to stink. I didn’t ask if they had a smell. The seller didn’t say anything about odor or not. They arrived sealed in plastic bags which didn’t help. It’s so offensive I can’t even hold them. I couldn’t possibly give these as a gift. This was a significant purchase for me that was extremely disappointing. My return request was denied. I should’ve asked if the items had an odor. They’re okay with sellers selling stuff that literally stinks. It’s too bad for you if you bought it. So I’ve asked them — if I list these items & the next unsuspecting buyer doesn’t think bag charms should stink, so they don’t ask, too bad for them? That’s okay for me to dupe the next buyer. They’ll have my back. When they denied the return they completed the transaction. That generally means the seller was rated. I didn’t get to give them an honest review. BTW — I’ve been a respected buyer for several years. It hasn’t been easy. I’ve got 100% positive reviews that include 24 very thoughtful comments. I’ve made many more purchases, as most sellers don’t bother with giving a review.I’m not going back. They’ve lost my trust. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Frustrating

As soon as they have a fault at their end it all falls apart. I've been trying to pay them to continue our service for the past week or so, it doesn't work, and they don't seem to be able to help. Go somewhere else.

Research fully before buying points in IHG

In Australia we are treated as second rate citizens compared to the USA. We pay MORE for every point we buy compared to those living in the USA. For every point we buy we have to pay in US Dollars. The conversion rate is not good and on top you have international bank charges. When one complains one receives a polite reply but no satisfaction. Do your own calculations and see how little value is attached to buying extra points even when IHG is so GENEROUS that they offer 100%, 75% benefits. One would think that in this time of COVID in Australia and hotel occupancy so low, there would be a special offer for Aussies!

Criminals

CriminalsAsos failed to deliver my parcel, refuse to accept it is their responsibility as the supplier of the goods, palming me off and extending deadlines for which they need to provide a refund. One can only hope that these thieves get put out of business and the brain dead support teams they employ are out of a job and can stop scamming people.

Review of wetransfer

Hidden recurring fees and no customer assistance

Difficult to understand the regulatory failure here or how many complaints and poor reviews it is going to take for these hidden recurring fees to stop. Obscure T&C signing you up to a membership you are unaware of, random amounts on bank statements as being charged in euros, no invoices or any reminders on email… once you realise you have been charged monthly for a service you are not using and manage to log on eventually, the complaint/cancellation process is obscure and unnecessarily complicated, with an arrogant customer service who feel comfortable enough in their legal position to refuse a refund. This is daylight robbery. Not many users actually need a recurring membership, but obviously the business model would not work if you could not cheat naive customers who cannot tell what they are signing up to with a one-time use. To asd insult to injury, the wetransfer website claims to offer a non-commital one-off service which is a blantant lie.

I would like to give them zero star if…

I would like to give them zero star if possible. I placed an order and shipments never come. And I called FedEx about my packages and FedEx said there was nothing they could do, they recommended me to call Uniqlo, which I did. And after investigation, Uniqlo said they would not refund me because my order status said "delivered". Delivered to where? ?? Where are my packages??? I have no packages and yet they hold my money. I would recommend anybody who wants to shop Uniqlo, think twice, even third... I personally will never shop Uniqlo. I ever recommended Uniqlo to my friends and now I regretted I did that. And I have called all friends informing them what happened to me.

Rude security guard at 170 Oxford…

Rude security guard at 170 Oxford Street.I had my emotional support dog in my carrier , went up to the security guard , asked for directions and he told me dogs are not allowed. I told him mine is an emotional support dog and I’ve been in the shop and this branch too many times. He told me I was allowed in because he wasn’t there and made some rude comments after. My boyfriend was protective and told him he don’t need to be that rude but was asked to ‘take the dog and his attitude’ out of the store ! He is a security who behaved like a bouncer in a night club.He really put me off going back to the store again. I don’t even get any problems in Harrods or any major stores. Won’t be doing my Christmas shopping there for sure

Missing items return

Returned two items from an order in one parcel, only received refund for one... quick search now tells me this is actually a fairly common experience. Too frequent to be an accident! So either Evri is stealing items in transit or some Uniqlo staff at returns are or it's being done deliberately as a Uniqlo policy to save money. Needs looking into really. I've no way to prove whether I sent one item or two so it's the perfect set up. Sadly can't imagine ordering from there again.
