An Ebay agent lied to me and shorted me £60!

Ebay did not say anything about there being a customs fee, when I purchased an item. I was later slapped round the face during delivery with a £60 customs charge. Before I paid it, I called up ebay support and was told by the agent that i'd be able to claim back the money paid afterwards through ebay, so I should go ahead and pay it. I paid it expecting the money back (why wouldn't I, that's what I was told by an official ebay agent). Surprise surprise, when I then contacted ebay again, after receiving the item and paying the customs charge to claim back the money, I was told that what the agent had told me wasn't true - they would not be able to refund any money - and that there was nothing they could do about it. No compensation, no apology - nothing. This experience has very much steered me away from using ebay in future. BE WEARY when using ebay!

Review of capterra

Capterra eventually cheats and scams honest reviewers out of promised incentives

It's a shame they had to cheat. Our radio hosting company had some deal with Capterra where they were asking us all to review the hosting software. My initial experience of Capterra was OK - my first three reviews, one in June and two in August, were all paid in a few weeks, with limited-time gift cards. Once on their mailing list, they send out huge numbers of promotional emails, *always* offering incentives for reviews. (e.g. "To say thank you for writing a review and helping others, we’d like to help you too: $10 to Amazon for each published review for up to five reviews.*") Eventually in January I submitted two more reviews, the same way as previously (via valid current incentive emails). These were published - but no incentive was received. When I queried this, the reviews compliance team unfortunately then lied, stating that my reviews weren't valid - even though they are now on the Capterra site with signs stating that I was offered a gift card incentive to complete the reviews! They then lied further, telling me their incentives only run for a few days each month. Capterra, we know your incentives run from beginning to end of each month, it says so in each new mail. We note Capterra responds to each negative review on here with the same cut-and-paste denial. Capterra: I submitted valid reviews within the correct period (the entire month), they clearly passed QA, and Capterra has pretended on the published reviews to have paid me, yet I was not paid for them. It's very interesting to read all these other one-star reviews. Capterra, you have trashed your reputation around a radio station for the sake of two $10 gift cards. Hope you enjoy our program about you.

Review of zoom

My Zoom account was cancelled without my doing

My Zoom account was cancelled even though I had paid the renewal fee 2 months prior. I reported this and Zoom gave me the name of who cancelled my subscription. Which was a Zoom renewal employee. They said they would elevate the issue and email me right after we got off the call. They did not email me. Also, the price of the subscription was not $10 more than when I originally renewed 2 months previously. When I brought this up on the call Nicola stated that their prices do go up. I asked why I was paying more if I renewed 2 months previously and somehow my subscription was cancelled without my doing or knowledge. I also waited 40 minutes on hold to get a live person. For a tech product, it seems odd that Zoom does not have a call back feature when your time in line isup. Worst customer service ever!

Vodafone is the worst company

Vodafone is the worst company not only in Germany but in the entire world. I have never encountered such a careless attitude towards customers anywhere else. Last week, I bought a new phone because my old one started having screen issues. I transferred all my data, except for the Vodafone eSIM. The website stated that I need to visit their office, which I did. There, they told me that they would send a new QR code by mail within a week. Okay, no problem – I’ll wait. After ordering the new number, I left the office and discovered that my current number was blocked. Vodafone simply deactivated my current eSIM, leaving me to wait for a piece of paper with a QR code that other companies usually provide directly on their website or instantly in the office. Right now, I have no access to my number and some of my bank accounts, as some banks require SMS verification. “Huge” thanks, Vodafone! I will never use any of your services again!PS: I sent a message to whatsapp, provided in the reply to this review - and got the perfect message back: "Hello, currently I am only able to answer questions in German language. Please try again in German." Ok. Seems ilke it will take some time to get my number because first I have to learn German.

This webcam has great audio and video quality. The quality is fantastic, and its fairly cheap.

Poor service

Scroll wheel on mouse failed within warranty period. Manufacturer asked me to provide loads of info including a video then refused to help me! Software is bulky too. I won’t purchase Logitech again.

Ebay have downgraded their customer…

Ebay have downgraded their customer care to such an extent that even though I have perfect 1200 five star score I will not be using them anymore. They have replaced human beings with AI, all they want to do is send you fact sheets which doesn't address the issue, if you try to speak to a human being you get told "its outside their trading support hours" whatever the time of day it actually is. Pity but the love affair is officially over

Review of cloudflare

BEWARE - no ethics, no customer support

Our website appears to have been hacked, with the DNS rerouted to someone's account on Cloudflare. I spent hours trying to contact Cloudflare, but they won't talk to you or even accept emails unless you purchase an enterprise account for $3,000+.I finally tried posting for help in their community post section. Apparently, calling them out on this issue was enough to get their attention - they deleted my post, but still did not respond to me.This type of firewalling should be illegal. I would not do business with Cloudflare under any circumstances, ever.
