Review of booking

Poor customer service

Booking.com's customer service is so bad. I booked a hotel for a trip with my family. I did not expect the hotel to be a great one but just needed a place to sleep. But once we got there the hotel was falsely advertised. The hotel looked more like a crack den. The room smelled heavily of smoke, only one outlet worked and despite having an AC it was locked and you could not turn it on. I left and found a new hotel as my family could not stay there. Bookings customer service told me it was my fault for booking the room with a low rating and they would do me a favor and give me a $12 credit on their app for my next booking. The pictures of the hotel and the room were far different that what is reality and yet they aren't willing to help. Don't use them, it's better to use your money with a hotel directly.

DISGUSTING MENTAL TORTURE!PLEASE READ!These S-bags have rated a kids film 11 rated and any under five year olds must have an adult with them.The film in question is the new Halloween film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, we walked (two parents and four children 14/ 11, 9 and 5 years of age )out within 15 minutes for the reasons I’m about to list you will be absolutely gobsmacked and if your kids want to see this film do not let them. This is an absolute disgrace to the film industry. This film with either be banned completely or made an over 21 film.The first thing we noticed is an adult that couldn’t cope through the day so they were swallowing pills, these pills were large red and white and showed a few times, reason 2 why we walked out was a serious plane crash where the engine caught on fire, reason 3 a man being eaten by a shark with blood spattering, reason 4!!!!! A woman stapling her face together!God knows what else happened in this film, but I grabbed the kids grab my Mrs and we left. I screamed at the manager of the film should be banned. I’m surprised the whole cinemat didn’t follow us.(Maybe they did)This film I was put on the same rating as the hostel if any adults have seen it it is along them lines. It is terrifying detrimental and definitely traumatising especially to any under 18-year-old. I was gobsmacked!The manager of the complex told me that BBC have rated this film. I can’t believe that the BBC have rated the film that involves drugs, death torture and explosions including aeroplane crashes and shark deaths at 12 honestly they need to be closed down.I didn’t stick around with my family to watch any more. I’m sure there are loads more terrifying things but for me I was worried about my children’s mental state. My 14-year-old looked at me and said that what is this film and that’s a child telling his father before I already made up my decision to go.STAY AWAY i’ll be traumatised. I am sure for the rest of your life.This is not a family or children’s film this is full-blown horror poltergeist Freddy Krueger hostel chainsaw massacre type film.It’s right up there with the ones that you will never forget and the last thing you want is to let your children experience this at especially at such a young age whoever made this film needs to be x in the head.

Mcafee is trying to charge me $199.99…

Mcafee is trying to charge me $199.99 for a service that I never BOUGHT and never authorized them to do an auto renewal. I bought 2 desk top computers last year from Best Buy and McAfee is claiming that when you buy a computer you AUTOMATICALLY buy McAfee, and they AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE you every year. This is a RIPOFF. I spent 2 hours on the phone and was transferred 4 times and no one solved my issue. I simply want my $199.99 refunded to me and not have McAfee trying to charge me every year.

So ok, I want to deactivate some device to get the new one but I can't (mobile by the way)And also they keep turning on the VPN even though I've turned off the option to automatically turn on VPNBut still, their antivirus is good for me.

Sublimely delicious cinnamon buns

Discovered Sweet Doris cinnamon buns today at Wimbledon Village market and just had to write in. The BEST I have ever tasted. Ever. They are baked during the night, so arrive fresh and impossibly moreish and divine. This is a small London-based company and they deserve to be championed! Sweet Doris has raised the bar. If I could give 6 stars I would 👍👍🤩🤩

I ordered an itme for ~$2,000 USD. It was never delivered because it was legally blocked from entering my country due to transportation regulations. FedEx and the seller confirmed this.I submitted multiple disputes, all documentation, and contacted AliExpress support through every available channel. I even sent formal complaints to their complaint and legal teams — no one has responded.AliExpress Buyer Protection failed completely on a high-value order. I'm now forced to consider legal and public actions to recover my funds. Extremely disappointed and warning other buyers to be careful.If support is seeing this: I can provide full documentation immediately.Edit following the reply:There is no dedicated CS. All the Support in AliExpress do is open a ticket for refunds team (Which I have done more than 10 times) - Thier reply is automatic and they do not respond to reply to the email.So, I have no way of talking to anyone in a conversation that can make a decision.

Not a trustworthy company

Not a trustworthy companyVery dodgy company, I had various booking confirmation emails sent to me with different names and using different credit cards (not my card). Told them about it and asked them to close my account. They say they can't because there are existing bookings (pass the dates already). I told them several times, it was not me that booked it and these could be fradulant transaction. They don't seem to care, probably happy to just take the money. I have repeatly asked them to close this account as I have not ever used it to book anything. Likely opened the account when I was looking at accomendations years ago and comparing various websites. They refuse to do so.I have told them this is not my responsibilty anymore as I have told you numerous times. Have blocked all emails from them now, changed the name of the account to some random name and password.This company takes no responsibility and is just interested in taking any money whether legit or not.Do not use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service

I've been having issues with my phone sound quality. I contacted Samsung live chat, they couldn't fix the problem. I went in to Samsung service center and they said I need to get the speaker replaced. Waited for the part then I had to go back. After they replaced it the problem was still there and now they're saying the motherboard is the issue and it has to be replaced. I would have to backup all my data. I tried calling Samsung customer service to ask for a replacement instead and they're saying I have to mail in my phone and they will decide if I can get a replacement, which takes 2 weeks. They have no loaner phones. Ridiculous warranty, horrible customer service, so much time wasted. Very disappointed

Comically bad cancellation processAs other reviewers have mentioned, you have to talk to customer service to cancel. They're obviously trained to frustrate you so much that you give up and just continue paying.Funny because the content of the Economist is reputable as far as media goes. But the company itself is all the things the editorials pretend to hate.

Billing page broken. Left my business account out of sync for 3 days. Slow support

Used Dropbox Business for 2 years. When tried to switch from annual plan to monthly, the system would not let me. Syncing stopped. Card payment not accepted, paypal payment giving 550 error page. Tried it dozen times, got error that billing is failing and I should contact support. Contactsd support 10 times, logged 3 tickets. 3 days no action. This bad business customer support service. NOT ACCEPTABLE! 3 days office computers out of sync. This hugely affected our work. Dropbox support is slow...
