I got a beach 🏖️ bungalow for the weekend with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Then got a message at 3 in the morning the day we were leaving that we need to cancel it and would get a full refund from the property. Then the next morning communication with the booking site to inform them that the cancellation was initiated by the property. Then the property seemed upset that I informed them like they wanted it to look like I had canceled to not get my refund. Seemed suspicious to me the entire situation and booking.com was only going to pay 28 dollars for another hotel on the beach. I ended up going to another booking site having to pay 500 extra dollars for a similar place last minute.

I called the customer service last 5 December 2024 and a refund was confirmed and promised to be debited to my account on or before 16 December 2024. I called again to follow up for that refund as it hasn’t been credited on the promised date and now they are saying there will be no refund at all. The inconsistency on what was promised and confirmed previously, and what they are saying now is truly upsetting to say the least. Customer service representatives should be informed well of the policies rather than making up something, committing to it and then eventually taking back what was previously promised. No integrity at all.

Agoda.com is a scammer booking web application. Please don't book with this application. They show you a cheap price then you will pay the worst expense when you check in at the hotel. They also enforce you to pay 100$ extra fee for every night which is a very surprising invisible fee. They are completely scammers. Be careful. booking.com is a real but more expensive.

I ordered two books but only received one. The books were from the same seller. The email from the seller indicated the two books were being shipped together and I was provided one tracking number. When only one book arrived, I asked for a refund for the other book. I was told to contact the seller through the request a refund button. I did but received no response from the seller. Then I contacted AbeBooks Customer Service (which is hard to find by the way---purposely [?]). They said they would take it up with seller and get back to me in two days. They never got back to me either. So I sent another communication to the seller and to AbeBooks Customer Service. And round and round we go. Still no refund for a book never received. Must be nice to take money for books and then never send them. What a business model. People do not want hassles in their life, and AbeBooks is nothing but a hassle in my life right now. If I want used books in the future, I'll be looking elsewhere.

I don't want to have to retell my story as I have done it multiple times during my 5 hours of phone calls trying to resolve my issues. I even contacted the executive team to try and resolve it. Unfortunately they only responded that they would look at it and haven't done so. My vacation was ruined. I was left scrabbling myself to get accommodations as my family looked on. The owner of the company cancelled 4 hours prior to check-in and VRBO did very little to help. In fact I wish they had just told me I was on my own from the beginning. The process of dealing with them has been painful. Never again!

Survey Monkey has been in use with my company for many years, with my team being the main users for the last seven. All our surveys have been easy to design, promote and manage, we've had steadily increasing response rates over the last few years as word of mouth gets around our clients as to how easy our surveys are to do and my team have to spend very little time on analysis.Granted, I've never tried to cancel an agreement with Survey Monkey, which seems to be the main source of bad feedback in these reviews, but I've not been in that situation precisely because the service I've had has been exactly what I need, so I haven't even considered changing.

The site is hideously overpriced, buggy, very slow and the company has absolutely zero interest in fixing all the glitches in the functionality of the site. Any attempt at contacting customer service will only torture you with attempts to upsell on other services and will show no interest in resolving your issue. I'm attempting to cancel the service and that is a huge hassle as well. Find another service! Follow up 2/25 - after numerous requests, I was finally able to cancel the service. But it should only take one request - not many. Thanks for your response - now actually act on it and you'll do a lot more business that way.
