I feel so dumb, never again.

First time buying with Guitar Center; just a pair of headphones I needed and paid extra for overnight shipping so I could have them before leaving on a trip.Long story short, it’s unfortunately gone missing and I haven’t been able to locate where the driver left it. I reached out to GC’s support online, and the agent I spoked to, Jordan, was insanely dismissive. He, word for word, said “Stuff gets stolen off front doors all the time.” and to reach out to the police if I wanted any help. A customer service rep’s job is literally to handle issues like this with empathy and options, this was just insanely inappropriate, especially to say to a new customer. If “stuff gets stolen all the time” I would have never placed an order through here.Now, I have to potentially file a dispute because of this, along with the screenshots, but I just cannot get over that conversation, wow.Edit:Just to update, Guitar Center replied to this review asking me to email them, but didn’t even bother responding TO that. They’re also trying everything in their power to fight against all the claims I’ve opened against them to avoid refunding me (a $100 item, by the way. $100 they don’t want to refund).

I'm expecting them to listen to the customer and don't press mute on my complaint which they have done. I have contacted them with regards to my account and their service was TERRIBLE, 0 sense of customer care, if it had a personality Deezer's is definitely GOLD DIGGER.

Absolute nuisance of a company.chess auto declares stalemate even though it's on a timer. No freedom of speech if you say anything deemed offensive. I contacted chess.com with these issues and they don't give a shit.do not install this rubbish

Strict no refund policy

They have a fun policy...Once you cancel by mistake, there is no refund neither can use the paid version for the period one paid for. Zero flexibility with their policy.

Don’t start a subscription with these people

I needed to cancel my subscription and it’s evident that they want to make it as difficult as possible for you to be able to do so unless you call them, at which time they’ll read you a bunch of lines from a script “I understand your concern and I will assist you in this request” and other BS like that…it’s like they’re telling you what you want to hear whilst stalling and then they’ll try to make you an offer for a better deal. When you say no thanks they’ll launch into more scripted stuff and it goes on and on. Never in my life have I shouted at someone who’s in customer support…I’ve had that job and I get it. But yesterday I ended up shouting at the person at McAfee because she wouldn’t just cancel and refund me as she said she would and let me off the phone. I explained that I had to deliver a meal to a friend who was just home from the hospital -nobody’s business- but I honestly had to go and despite being told that three times she kept insisting on me telling her what antivirus product I was going to use instead of McAfee. I was on the phone with her for SEVENTEEN MINUTES. It should have been 5-7 minutes max. My advice is to never even get started with McAfee so you’re never in the position to contact them for anything.

Very poor. I don’t like using it.

I never ever write reviews but the BBC News app is awful. Normally one complains for a bit and then gets used to a change but not this one sadly. I can’t navigate, the feel of it is awful. It feels like it has gone back in time rather than modernised it. MoreConcerning is that it is tax payers money being wasted.

Ordered some laces for a delivery to Leek Convenient Store, 97b Mornington Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 6ENGot an email that order is ready to collect and QR code was given. Went there to collect and store owner says, he doesn't have a device to scan the QR code and hasn't got that for some time now. So all in all QR code cannot be swiped. Why such stores are allowed for delivery is beyond me. Anyways so emailed customer support and reply from Gayatri was if you are facing issues with QR code, please turn the brightness one. Also advise if store is facing any Wi-Fi issues. Customer care is appalling. Lodging a claim with card company now if this is not sorted.

They're so awful

They're so awful! The content used to be viewable for free and it was a huge thing on the internet. I used to enjoy writing here. Now, everything is behind a paywall! The articles are often not even that good because there's no barrier to entry. Stop with the annoying "teaser" articles! All it's doing is making me avoid any medium article in general.God you guys are dumb.

Bought a desktop for around 1k and in 6…

Bought a desktop for around 1k and in 6 months half of the screen faded black. Had a nightmare trying to report it and book it in for repair. Called up twice. Used the virtual assist where I got through to "Rochdi" the conversation started with him at 16.19 and I'm still waiting on him to book it in for collection at 19.35. He was ignoring me when I tried to do what he asked twice but it wouldn't work, I told him what the problem was as I'd spoken to the team twice but he didn't want to know. Still waiting on it to be booked in because "currently receiving multiple customers at the same time". It's been 3hrs just to book in for a repair...how hard can it be?

Purchased a laptop and couldn't get the keyboard to light up. Several calls and hours on the phone only to eventually be told that the keyboard isn't backlit. Even the person on the call couldn't believe that they sell laptops like this!

I am happy to say that the quality of the customer support and help received upholds the quality of the journal. I am very sorry to hear that other people do not agree, but for me FT and its services and support remains one of the best around.
