Review of booking

Booking.com not recommended - unreliable

We have had mixed experience on Booking.com during our recent international trip to North America; in particular with booking a rental vehicle through Booking.com. Booking.com sold us comprehensive insurance, which did not end up being comprehensive. It did not include windshield damage and flat tire, among other things (there are no spare tires in the vehicles). And took a refundable bond for some unknown reason as we had to pay another bond to Thrifty on pick up. The Booking.com bond will not be repaid until one month after we returned from our overseas trip. We would suggest doing research on Booking.com, then booking directly with properties and providers wherever possible. Another reason being that one property refused our booking through Booking.com but Booking.com told us it was confirmed and took payment, which they did not pass on to the AirBNB accommodation provider (who did not want our booking). We did not find out until the day prior to our booking when we tried to get access instructions and the provider told us that they had told Booking.com that the property was not available. They sold our accommodation to another guest. We did not know this until the last minute and had to get alternative accommodation at an extra cost of approx. $70 NZD. This was expensive and inconvenient. The property owner also had to pay a fine. The property owner authorised Booking.com to repay our cost in full so at least there was that.

The BBC should be an unbiased reporter of the news, not the publisher of opinion pieces and bias.The recent incident with a "Gleeful reporter" because Johnson wasn't standing sums up the problem with the BBC.BBC exists in a metropolitan woke obsessed agenda driven bubble that fails to deliver the mandate embedded in their charter in fact it goes against that mandate.The BBC used to be a paragon of reliable news reporting and honest documentaries, those days are long gone.

It is such an easy tool to use for making fun videos to highlight events. I love that it is integrated with social media, making it easy to share. I also love the education account and opportunity to use with kids for FREE as well! I have used it for several years and always find a project that I can use it for!

Package is Missing and Terrible Customer Service Experience

I had an awful experience with Amazon UK regarding an order for Lindor Chocolates (Order ID: 205-4455463-2807552). The delivery was marked as "left in the garden" on 29th November, but the image provided was not of my property, and I never received the package.I reached out to customer service multiple times and provided my UK BRP and DL three times, yet they kept rejecting my documents and asking for the same information over and over. It felt like Amazon was pulling a fast one on me, deceiving me with a false delivery image and refusing to take responsibility for my order.This experience has left me feeling completely defrauded and deeply frustrated. I expected better from a company of this size, and I’m extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled.

Recently updated my pixel 6 Pro

Recently updated my pixel 6 Pro. I've had maney problems with recent updates from Google, and this recent December update has completely Sabotage my device. Google refuse to take responsibility because the device is out of warranty, despite the fact that their software as caused the issue, the hardware is still absolutely fine, but rendered unusable by software.I have tried to communicate with them, but they are just very evasive and pass you around and conveniently lose your previous correspondence, repeating questions over and over.They finally admitted that the update was the problem, but they refuse to do anything about it, I've never known anything like it, the audacity of these people, this is contravening people's legal rights,

I booked a stay at Agoda and I stayed at a Limehome property recently for two nights and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the apartment looked clean and modern in photos, I encountered several issues during my stay — including problems with the drain, the sink, and serious water leakage from the shower.On the morning of my check-out, I submitted a complaint through the Limehome website’s help center, but I did not receive any confirmation that my issue was submitted or received. This left me unsure whether my complaint even reached them.After my stay, I contacted Limehome directly to request a partial refund for the inconvenience. Instead of offering fair compensation, they first offered a voucher of only 10% for future stays on their own website. Unfortunately, since I booked and paid through Agoda, I cannot use that voucher.They then offered a refund of only 10%, which felt like a joke considering the serious problems in the room — and the time I had to spend drying the bathroom floor twice after each shower.This is why I decided to leave this review here.I also contacted Agoda support, but was extremely disappointed by their customer service. Not only were they unable to offer any kind of compensation without the host’s approval, but their support system through the app is confusing, slow, and unhelpful. It’s clear that Agoda does not stand behind their customers in cases like this, which makes the entire booking experience feel unreliable.I’m genuinely disappointed in how this was handled. The lack of effective communication and unwillingness to take responsibility — both from Limehome and Agoda — have left me with a very negative impression. I will not be booking with Limehome again — or using Agoda in the future.

Misleading information

Hi, your platform was advertised as free, so I created a form and sent it out to me 34,000 email subscriber list. It's a good thing I double-checked it because I realised the form closed after 10 responses, but we already got many customers complaining that the form did not work for them. I'm okay with paying for a form if you explicitly state that it is limited to 10 responses, but I had to find out after sending a mass email to thousands of people causing a big headache for customer service. I paid for the monthly plan just to get it working again. But I missed out on potentially hundreds of responses. Please post this dislcaimer on your forms and in your advertising.Right now, I'm pretty angry about this. I probably won't ever use Typeform again if you don't refund me. If not, I'll just ask the bank for a chargeback saying that you falsely advertised your service.

Terrible! We have the bespoke fridge. Samsung did not tell us we have warranty. So, we had another company work on the fridge and they couldn’t fix it. So we called Samsung again and they then refused to work on the fridge but charged us a fee to diagonuse it??? We have had this fridge 1 year!!! It all started with a cooling issue. No one will touch Samsung product so we can’t get it fixed?! Samsung won’t fix their own product!!!
