Wordfence - first line of defence and brilliant support

Being a business owner and just loosing our Developer it's difficult to deal with some of the more complex issues. On one site there was a difficult issue that TIM from support solved after digging in and checking things outside wordfence installation itself, something that's not expected but greatly appreciated and was solved within an hour.Not having wordfence is like driving an uninsured car.When you don't need assistance Wordfence is doing a brilliant background job

Review of unity3d

A great product, however;

A great product, but terrible support.This requires medium to intermediate knowledge and training to use. I have been using Unity (3.0+) since around 2011.Bought pro full version later when it was Unity 5.However the last couple of years they have changed it so it's not possible to get a pro license for life anymore, instead they are now on the monthly/yearly lease plan, which has turned me away from using it and are looking for alternatives.Addon's are not created by Unity but are created and sold by the community in the "asset store" however even though it's a Danish registered company they do not live up to the rules and regulations on refunding of products, there is no such thing as bought as is, with no warrenty of purchase.And when unity is the "store" for these sellers, they must carry the responsability for what is sold there, they don't. They do however do have a slim quality check ensuring minimal functionality. I still rate it 4 stars, because it's a great product, but terrible company policies.

Scam artists.

Its not a payment service, its a scam. There is just no support or transperacy. I was using paypal for 15 years and suddenly they send a message saying that your account is permanently limited. Without any explanation or resolution. Do not use this service they are a scam artists.

Pay in three rejected on the 11th March…

Pay in three rejected on the 11th March due to a problem with their server...told to try again. Tried six times no result and transaction not fulfilled. Next day, 12th March six initial payments taken from my bank account. When I phoned them I was told it was their error and I would have my money returned within two days...then told it would take five days.When I checked my bank account today 16th March the original six notifications had been deleted but another six for the same amount were pending. In total they have tried to take 6 x £71.99 (£431.94 in total). When I spoke to an agent today he seemed totally confused regarding how many payments there were and in the background there were Cockerels Crowing, so I guess he was at home in the farmyard. The next agent I spoke to was slightly more helpful and said they were not trying to take any money....I asked to speak to a supervisor and was eventually put through to an american male who assured me that there was no payment being taken and that he would send an email with a Confirmation Number for me to give to the bank to cancel the pending payment. This would be with me within one hour....five hours later nothing received.....typical inefficiency from our no longer trustworthy american 'cousins'. Despite being a customer since 2021 no offer of compensation just a half hearted muttered apology.Getting through to an agent you run the gauntlet of a pseudo self-important English male recorded message who understands very little and repeatedly asks the questions.....I presume this is to get you to hang up in frustration.As soon as I get my refund sorted out I am going to Klarna. PayPal is absolute rubbish now....the sooner the Trump world order is revised and america is left to stew in its own vile mess the better....let's take the world back from US dominance.

I booked two Holiday Inn rooms...one in Lamar, Colorado (the stay was great), the second one in LaJunta, Colorado. One day apart from each other and I booked a stay in mid-July for a stay in September. When I got to LaJunta Holiday Inn, they "sold my room" to someone else the same day I was supposed to arrive. I was left roomless (homeless) for the evening. The hotel did not seem to care and could not accommodate my reservation (why even book a room) so, I reached out to IHG Headquarters. They promised me a return call within 4 - 8 hours, never heard back. I spent 2 hours with them on the phone. Very difficult to understand as English did not seem like their native language. I also spoke to Elle, The Senior Case Manager for guest relations. She was very rude and did not offer any help or suggestions. She said the hotel had to resolve it and she could not help.I called the hotel back. No great resolutions. I will strongly hesitate to stay at a Holiday Inn or any other IHG hotel/housing accomodation again. I hope you have a better stay!

Worst possible security system, (TERRIBLE)

Worst possible security system and the application is specked with indian hackers, trying different ponzi-schemes to kick through. Free nitro links and developer invitations DIRECTLY from the discord LTD application system... Even with 2FA, it's pathetic. Anything and Everything can & will probably be a fraudulent link of virus of some sort. Tracing key-stroks that can link and uncover bank-account details, even... That can uncover codes, passwords and emails from different websites and apps.

Their customer service is the worst

Their customer service is the worst. I've been on hold with them going back and forth about issues for the past 4 hours. I have lost $1,000's in potential sales and they offer no compensation other than a, "we're very sorry". They are not sorry. They are expensive, they are incompetent, and they will inhibit your business to the enth degree. For months, I have been telling them that there are issues with their sales tax collection with third party platforms that are integrated with their POS. They denied, denied, denied until I finally got my third party rep on the line with them to explain that the issue is THEIR fault. This happened a month ago and they have yet to get back to me. They rolled out new service plans with no descriptions, only price increases. This led me to choosing the, "essential plan" which the the service rep assured would be the same as the one I am currently on. Wrong, the essential plan is essentially worthless. I was unable to print orders, receive online orders, print receipts or mark the order as dine in or take out. As a small business owner I trusted Clover to provide me with accurate sales data, strategies, and support and they have provided none of that. If you are thinking clover, RUN AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. CLOVER IF YOU ARE READING THIS, CONSIDER THAT YOU ARE FORMING A PARTNERSHIP WITH CLIENTS. WE DESERVE RESPECT NO MATTER THE SIZE OF THE BUSINESS.

They didn’t cancel my subscription as requested and when I asked for a refund refused to give it to me. I NEVER used their services as they didn’t work out for my needs but they were happy to take my $10 anyway. Greedy company.

Review of ko-fi

As a buyer and seller

I both use Ko-Fi to buy conent, and to create content.I sell designs, and before I started to use ko-fi, as an artist, the process was a grind: it could take several days for something to be sold, due to timezones between customers and I, while with ko-fi, that problem isn't there, the cut they take is none as I'm Gold [ 50 bucks for a year, which considering the time I save, is more than worth it ], and even without gold, max they take is 5%, and that's only IF they take something [ depends if you use shop, commissions, donations, etc. ]. The anonmyity issue someone mentioned is more due to PayPal than Ko-Fi, not sure about Stripe as I don't use them, but with PayPal the only ones who keep anonimity with purchases are those with a business account, so keep that in mind ^^As a buyer, the only gripe I have is that it isn't intuitive that you can add multiple items to your cart before paying, but other than that, it's easy to do, and I get access to a variety of content, may it be patterns, designs, music, bases, writing tips, the variety of content creators is astounding, and ko-fi keeps adding more features upon request of the users in a considerably short time-span - they have a responsive Discord that I participate in, and the community is quite friendly!

The “Merry / Married” 2024 Christmas…

The “Merry / Married” 2024 Christmas ornament is a darling design and the picture of the husband and wife appears beautifully as requested. The problem is the font showing their Names (top left) and the year 2024 (top right) are so tiny and seem gray and not black ….are hardly discernible or readable by the naked eye. The Zazzle artist can 100% resolve this problem by using better Black colored lettering and a larger, Bolder font. Thank you for listening to this honest feedback.
