A purchase of 700 euros (electric bike) is a lot for me, unfortunately it was badly mounted and defective, I had the right to a service that contradicts itself, result: never exchanged never refunded, and the compensation I do not speak to you about it. Beautiful words for nothing.700 euros !With Amazon, it will remain a purchase per year less than 10 euros, I never take any risk with them, they no longer have my trust.
There are many things I don't like about Amazon, not least of which is the fact that it is an American multinational. Having said that, there was a reason it got so big and now dominates the sector; its emphasis on customer service, trusting the word of its customers and not having you jump through hoops to get the slightest concession from customer services, are all built into the Amazon buisness model. With free postage on orders above a certain modest minimum, and very reasonable rates for international orders, it makes ordering from Amazon often far cheaper and reliable than other sellers. After sales service within 30 days of purchase is so simple, it makes every other buisness customer service out there seem like the gestapo!Amazon marketplace gives small buisness a global marketplace for their goods they would not otherwise have, and more choice for us the buyer. However, everything is not perfect in the wonderful world of Jeff Bezos. Contacting a non automated customer service OUTSIDE those initial 30 days is like navigating through a Brazilian Favella, at night, blindfolded.You stumble around, finding yourself endlessly back where you started.Once you do get through, the service is outstanding, its just getting through in the first place!!!!! You also have nagging at your mind the guilty knowledge that Amazon gets unfair tax breaks smaller local buisness don't get. They bully postal services into giving them heavily discounted postal rates competitors just can't get. Preferential listing on search engines also squeezes out other companies. The back room deals with politicians and civil servants, off-shore tax havens and lousy treatment of its workforce which are all part and parcel of the moden corporate buisness model are common knowledge. All these and many other reasons say "don't buy from Amazon", but it is so simple, so much choice, sometimes better value and the no quible return are just SOOOOO tempting that despite your heart and conscience saying "no, resist, buy from a local buisiness or at least one in your own country", your eye, brain, wallet, purse and bank account says "Amazon".
I ordered iPhone 8 on Amazon france, which was almost 700 euros.On the delivery date, I received "a box of fabric dye powder" instead of my iPhone. The box was smashed, and wrapped with a plastic tape from "La Post".Strangely, the item I received had an barcode, which belongs to Amazon... and almost same weight as iphone.I contacted customer service, and they told me to get an declaration report from the police station for refund. Because it seems like my phone has been stolen during deliberation.I got the declaration, and sent it to the customer service with evidence pictures of items which I got and the smashed box.They didn't accept the declaration paper, because it did not mention the shipping address (I shipped my phone to my husband's work office).Went back to the police station, and asked to add the shipping address.Then I sent the new declaration to Amazon again.Again, the second declaration was rejected because this time, my order number was not mentioned on it.I sent an email back and asked to tell me what kind of information I should have on my declaration. So I don't have to go to the police again and again.They normally reply me within half a day. But this time, they haven't replied me back yet. So I called customer service, but no one pick up the call.It has been a week since I started dealing this case.And it seems like Amazon will never pay me back, they just keep asking me new declaration papers.Definitely, I can say that Amazon fr has the worst customer service I've ever had.Better not buying small and expensive items from Amazon fr.If something happens, it costs you lots of time and torture.
I bought some itens on Amazon Business France. The delivery date was set to 22th February, and at that date the itens had not yet been sent. I contacted support and they told me that there was a problem with my card to contact the bank. I contacted the bank and they said there was no problem. I insisted and they told me they that the card was ok but they were verifying my account. I waited and... nothing, the order is still on with 22th february delivery date!!! I insisted and now I am not getting any answer! The experience seems a nightmare, a Kafka book!!! Buy on Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.com! I never had any problem with them!
Shipping warranty means nothing. My package was "guaranteed" to deliver today. Today they changed the status of my order to "will be delivered in a week". I contact customer support and they offer... no help at all. They ask me to wait. I ask the person to have a supervisor help and she says "they will contact you in 48hs"... I need the package delivered today, but there is nothing from Amazon to keep on their own guarantee.
