You can't delete your account unless you promote the app to another user first. Entrapment. A product which is both decieving and disingenuous. Do not use.

Buggy and support is poor

Great when it works, but it's buggy more than it should be. Support is weak and basically a waste of time contacting them. Need to step up their game and sort these bugs out and invest in proper support else they won't have long in this business. Ripe for someone better to eat them up very soon.

Incredibly Inconsistent.

I've just spent a whole day trying to record 5 videos of less than 5 minutes each. Most of this time was spent trying to get Loom to work correctly, because apparently whether it records your face alongside the screen capture is decided utterly arbitrarily from video to video. I used Loom for the same task last year with no issues, so I can only assume it's had an update which makes it worse.

Always Free My ###

Loom seems to have changed the terms of their "Always Fee" option by now limiting the "total all time" number of videos to 25. Previously a free user could delete videos from their server total to under 25, then record another video. This can keep users perpetually in the free tier, but I wonder how many of us will now subscribe to a paid tier? I WONT -- and the reason is that these terms were changed without notice, it seems. Further, the Company continues to describe the free tier as "Always Free" -- which is clearly misleading and untrue. I will search for and use an alternative - even if I am required to subscribe to a paid account. Loom is dead to me.

Does't record audio

Does't record audio. Worst software I have ever used, it also randomly tries to connect to my phone to record audio.

NO SUPPORT IT DOESNT WORK

NO SUPPORT, IS IS NOT WORKING , TERRIBLE , videos always stuck uploading, it doesnt work never and ever, I invest hours to createn these videos just to loom DESTROY THEM NEVER BUY

Definitely worth the monthly fee

Definitely worth the monthly fee - I save 2+ hours every week by using loom for async presentations, bug reports. It is buggy, though...

It’s atrocious

It’s atrocious! It lags constantly, there’s no support team that will respond to you, they never fix bugs/issues that have been apparent for years and to be honest it’s just a complete waste of your time trying to constantly re-record videos because it cuts off early or autocrops your video or you finally finish a recording bug free and then it doesn’t upload successfully. Worst application I’ve ever used.

$200M In Funds For A Buggy Product

It's amazing how a product that raised over $200M in funds managed to create such a buggy product... 1/3 times when using this something goes wrong to the point I'm not able to use it at all...Avoid Loom at any cost.
