Viber is horrendous - MUST READ

horrendous. do not use. stay away. trying to get 1 person to connect to talk to large personal group. took about 3 hours before number was blocked from making calls/ sending text. Reached out to "customer dont care". who replied word for word"it was reported as a source of spam or as a result of unusual activity. The account has been automatically added to a block list and can not be unblocked.No further information is available at this time. Please do not reply to this e-mail."tried this with 3 mobile numbers. 2 brand new gmail accounts and with the same result. so they dont tell you why. or what we can do. plus tell us do not reply? utter waste of time.

A pain to get support & delete contacts

As far as contacting friends and family , it's very good and gets the job done.However , it's horrendous and a pain in the neck getting support from their team and awwwwwwwwwwwefull in managing contacts. You can delete only one contact at a time. You cannot choose to delete multiple or all contacts at once.

Looks like a big scam

Installation only gives an option to accept all ads and scams, refuse and you cannot use ViberApprove all and get scams, bots and adsIt is not messaging app, it is a scam app, avoid avoid

NEVER USE THIS APP

NEVER USE THIS APP, TRUST THE REVIEWS.Didnt know that its possible to go sink lower than a facebook or WhatsApp messenser, but here we are. I cant even comprehend how bad this chat service is. First thing after registration you receive a bunch of random chat "bots" or sth. Not even mentioning that in order to somehow prevent the app from tracking all random stuff, you firstly need to go deep into the settings. Oh and if you want to add some contact and ACTUALLY CHAT, you are REQUIRED to give this app a PERMISSION to your photos and media. Furthermore, nobody can get rid of bot messages, or multiple ads, notification spams etc.

Communication App that you can never communicate with!

For an app that provides a way to communicate, its so ironic that its so difficult to communicate with viber. I have used viber briefly because for some reason, this is the preferred app in th PH. However, after accessing viber through personal laptop and work laptop, I got blocked. I have sent several requests to unblock my number to no avail and there is just no way to reach them. Seriously switch to Whatsapp people!!!

Viber Service

21-09-2022 Terrible Service. Made payment then blocked from viber out calling no apparent reasons. Terribly slow customer care service. Not recommended. I should have checked feedback in Trustpilot before making payment. (Initial 1 star)Updated: 23-09-2022: Customer services contacted within few hours and the problem was solved. (Updated to 2 stars) because the call quality is bad.

Uncalled for deletion of viber hidden chat…

I recently connected to viber regarding a deletion of a hidden chat. They had no explanation as to the deletion of most of my chat.My friend still has hers intact. She wants to give me her old phone with the chat history intact (since most of the chat is my poetry and prose) then delete viber off her new phone and we will switch to a different app. My question is this, when she does this will I still retain the chat history on the old phone and secondarily, can I switch the chat to unhidden?

Using email lo log in account between devices

Please can we have an alternative way to log in our accounts on another device? I would really prefer using email to log in, because it's much more easier than using the phone to scan. I hope Viber will add this in the next update version.

Trash support

Trash support. Desktop app keeps crashing so I reinstalled it. After reinstalling it, it keeps failing to synct. I contacted support and this stupid snowflake hoe named Katriona A. from their support team gave me a canned response and was never helpful. This snowflake also threatened to ban me from opening a ticket support if I offend her feelings again.This support employee cares more about her feelings than doing her job, and actually solving a problem. I hope this company caves in from within along with its useless employees like this snowflake support employee.
