This is a worldwide scam. It has been set up as a scam. I’m sure the company does nothing to facilitate calls, it is just about taking money for nothing. After a lengthy sign up process I got on the app, paid for Viber Out credits - money they happily accepted! - to then be told I’m a suspected Spammer immediately after, before I’d made any calls or done anything!I went through an unblocking process successfully and was told I would be back on within an hour. 24 hours later nothing.I contact their support team for help. No reply ask now I go back on the app and ive been logged out. Any attempt to use the same number or log back in just fails with no reasoning.They purposely take money and then block people and remove them before they offer a service. Who knows what else they’ve taken from me now they have my number, email and personal details.Stay away - this is not a real company.

Worst app ever ..it gives fake ring…

Worst app ever ..it gives fake ring from caller side but doesn't actually ring at the receiver end. Also incase they get a call after so much try - only can hear heloo... This is bullshit app. Don't go cheated by getting viber out subscription

Worst App that Exists in the Known Unver

I downloaded Viber because Skype no longer works. Paid 15 bucks or whatever and then started making calls. Got a bit of a banking emergency here. In Borneo - but have perfect internet connection. Used skype from here for years. I can tell you that Viber is complete garbage. All of my calls have been dropped (after 30+ min on hold or in the middle of a phone call), which is incredibly frustrating. When the call isn't dropped, it's even worse, because the other end can't hear me/us. Even if they refunded my money to my account, I would say, that honestly, they owe me in the neighborhood of 20 thousand dollars just for the hassle, frustration, wasted time, wasted energy,etc. I didn't know anything could be this bad honestly. They've set the bar lower than human imagination can conceive, and I applaud their catastrophic failure for being so incredibly spectacular. Surely they are #1 in the world for failure, disappointment, and patheticness - if that's a word. It should be, thanks to Viber! Wowzer

i have deposited 40 dollar while i…

i have deposited 40 dollar while i wanted to only upload 10 dollar, its confusing, not clear and they let you upload more and more money as the deposits dont reflect. Then they simply say, 'yeah we found something suspicious' so now i have 40 dollar in this viber account i cannot call to my family, the shitiest of the shitiest company i have ever set my eye on.

Viber is a scam - Do not use - use Yolla instead

Do not use. The company claims to offer calls to various countries. None that I have tried worked so far. Use Yolla instead.

Bad Services

Hello,Your chatbot informed me that my account has been unblocked. However, when I try to make a call using Viber Out, I still see an option indicating that my account is blocked. I have submitted multiple requests regarding this issue, but I have not received any response from your support team.

I got the app working FINALLY without…

I got the app working FINALLY without any constructive help from support. They have no idea how viber out works. I'm not the best with tech, but eventually I got it working. Customer support simply repeated the same message over and over and over and over. In the end I asked 'miriam' if she was a bot and I got no further responses, even when I sent them screenshots showing them how it worked I now have it working on desktop and phone. I'm not sure exactly what I did. One thing I can say, is that when calling on your phone, you need to dial the code to get out of your country so calling from-- so ie, calling from Australia is 0011 then the country code, area code etc. Good luck

Stay away from Rakuten Viber

I hoped that I can start using Viber instead of Skype. However, after spending 3 days trying to activate the Viber account I still could not resolve the issues. Viver's customer support is useless. I am stuck a Viber bot hell. Viber bot presented me with a captcha, which a solved. The bot informed me that the Captcha test was successfully passed and that my account will be unblocked in one hour. Several hours later the bot informed me that I failed passing the Captcha test. It does not give me an opportunity to retake it. The Viber customer support does not respond.

Avoid Viber

Thought I'd use Viber as a replacement for Skype. BIG MISTAKE. I do not receive an SMS or call to activate the app account/ Their bot and 4 (YES 4!) support people (Tim/Katriona/Angelica/Gavin) all just trot out reinstall and try again. Have done that ten times and sick of the same nonsense. None of them can tell me why doing it again will give a different result from the last time. Bonkers. I give up.

Took their long distance plan

Took their long distance plan. They don't advise you to set up wi fi calling. So it ends up using you cellular and paying long distance rates though your cell phone provide. Deleted their app
