Setting up as a new customer and transferring from another carrier, I selected a plan and ordered a phone. Order was confirmed, $$$ deducted from my bank account (set up auto-pay for additional discount), yet no correspondence received had any information on how to set up a way to access my AT&T account, therefore no way to log in, etc. Numerous emails and jumping through hoops attempting to initiate the Signature Program through my employer, a major university where I’ve worked over 15 years, which discount was denied, I called AT&T customer service and was transferred numerous times, finally landing with the rudest rep I have ever encountered. They insisted I must have set up an account with a passcode for the order to go through, despite my insistence I did not do so - I only provided my email, phone number, SS#, address, etc., online on their website. I have a MacBook which saves every account and password created and have nothing stored. They continued to berate me when I requested the order be cancelled stating they couldn’t since the account wasn’t active. All the red flags are going off and I will not be doing business with this company after this frustrating experience. :::Update 20250124:::The pending charge on my bank account disappeared. Since I did not receive an email, phone call, or text to confirm, I can only assume that the order was cancelled. Truly disheartening that a company treats potential customers this way.

Ordered an oven, because mine blew up. Not wanting to be without a way of cooking, I sought out the quickest solution. Free delivery in three days time? That will do, I thought. Then, after placing the order, my delivery date is inexplicably a whole week later than what was stated at the checkout. Two further infuriating things now rub salt in the wounds. If I look at the oven I ordered, apparently I can still get it in 3 days time. I contact “customer service” who apparently aren’t empowered to offer any services to customers, because they can’t do anything about it. Not even cancel the order! I have to wait for it to be delivered and then refuse delivery! WTAF! I’d never have ordered if I had any impression I’d be waiting more than a week. I’d have paid more from the likes of AO or Currys to stand a chance at a more timely delivery. Moral of the story: NEVER trust the quoted delivery day when shopping for anything on Amazon. I’ve been misled a couple times like this in the past when buying from Amazon, but it’s never been more than 1 day later once the order confirmation email comes through. Not an entire week.

Booked a hotel, received an email confirmation and the credit card was charged. Called the hotel to confirm that the room was booked and it wasn't, the hotel also told me they were sold out and had lots of problems with agoda bookings. Called Agoda again theu gave me a new reservation number, called the hotel back and still there was no reservation. I will be calling the credit card company now to dispute the charge, since the reservation is non existent. This company is a SCAM!!! Be aware of it.

For over 20 years our family have used National trust holidays,TBH the cottages are not the cheapest on the market and we have at times had to have a moan about things H&S wise but on the whole we have been happy with the service. We were due to go on holiday with them at the end of March for two weeks, the weekend before it was becoming clear that it may not be wise but at that time lockdown was not in force.By chance I looked on the NT website it said they were shutting down all holidays and would ring poeple in turn, after some days of no contact I rang them they stated that they were postponing everyones holiday as "they wanted everyone to enjoy them", I was told in no uncertain terms that I could not have a refund and if I canceled it myself as it less that a week away I would lose all payment, I could look to rebook for any time in the next 10 months, I pointed out that as keyworkers my wife and I can not pluck leave out of hat at a moments notice and that many people would need money spend on a holiday they cannot take back to help deal with the coming troubles ahead, but no it was give them some made up dates or lose a lot of moneyI have had no emails to confirm my date changes and the call centre is now closed.Lets be clear about this the NT are sitting with 100s of £1000s of peoples money, money some may need to help at a time of great worry,NT have also said they are furloughing 1000s of staff at the taxpayers expence, this is as bad as airline owners using the taxpayer as a cash point machine.I have been advised that the legal term for this is a Frustrated Contract as the terms of contract cannot be meet by any side and a refund should have been in order. When the call centre reopens i will be taking this matter onwards. In short NT have treated people who for many years have supported them and NT staff disgracefully, hopefully when the life returns to normal they will be held to account,i post this as a warning to others who may look to use them or support them.Prehaps others in the same position as myself should seek to form an group to take this further.

The only reason I'm not deleting it is because I have racist relatives I like to annoy. Mark Zuckerberg is probs the king of all man children, the way he's been throwing a tantrum over TikTok. I'm happy for China to collect my data, they've been a lot chiller than Zucky Bucky
