Review of godaddy
Their customer service is terrible. I have been trying from day one to get a refund with them and they are so hard to work with. I never plan on using my subscription and they still will not give me my money back. Their refund policy is really unfair and seems designed for their profit. There are no exemptions and no ways that the customer service team has helped me out to get even a partial refund. And this is for a site that I have never even built. This needs to be changed.

The customer service rep, Mark, was AMAZING! He helped me to resolve my tech issues. He took time to patiently explain how to set up a new account. I had several questions and he had to explain instructions over and over - but he was pleasant, kind and patient. I appreciated to be able to call and talk to a real human who was kind and personable. Mark is a gem and a rock star!!

If I could give them a -100 I would. Customer service is awful and so many lies. This my last time ordering online. Every time I order multiple pairs of shoes, there has always been a problem. Order always show “we received your order and we are processing it.” Needless to say, I never receive the order. When I call to inquire about the order they either say they will cancel the order, but never do, or they can’t cancel the order, or they will give you a refund but you have to call several times to get your refund. Customer service with DSW is at it’s all time worst. It has gotten so bad, I’m beginning to shop elsewhere.

POINTLESS FOR DEAF VIEWERS.I have been a true follower of Pointless since it's creation. However it would appear that over the last two weeks, a signing individual has appeared on screen to assist the contestants and viewers. I don't have a problem with that because I myself have an underlying disease. But it would appear that every screening is having this feature added. I feel that enough is enough and unless the BBC revert to their previous format without leaving a cringing Alex to almost apologise for a couple losing, then we will switch over to another channel permanently.

Charged a month for an internet service I wasn't using. Can't get customer support, it feels like it doesnt exist. I just keep getting bounced between different sales departments. Get told I'm getting transferred to "customer loyalty" and get transferred to cell service. This is not a company. This is a scam. Stay far away. And tell your friends and family to do the same.

I bought the yearly subscription in 2023 and did a couple of courses which were quite enjoyable. By my own fault, I forgot to cancel and then the subscription renewed in 2024. Oh well, I cancelled the subscription then and "bought" some more courses with my credits but I know for a fact that I still had some credits remaining. I wrote to Support in February this year asking how many credits I still had. No reply until now, just some AI slop about "you can see credits in this part of your profile..." But I can't. I found that answer on Google and had obviously tried it. They did write again a few weeks later to say that they "hadn't forgotten me, it's just taking longer than usual to reply" and now we're nearly at the end of April and there's still no response. It's unforgiveable really. Obviously my experience is not as bad as most others on here but it really leaves a bad taste to know that all of this is going on at the same time my Instagram feed and email inbox is bombarded with adverts for new courses. Sort it out.

There's still lots of specialized software that is only written for Windows. If you're working as a translator, for instance, you need Trados, which is the industry leader, only available on Windows. Now what if you happen to love your Mac, going back twenty years now? You've survived all the idiosyncrasies and spinning wheel days. It's finally the dependable machine you were craving in the 90s and with the M1 chip there's another reason to stay the course. Enter Parallels to save you from buyer's remorse and system envy. For the price of a not too fancy dinner you can have all of Mac's integrated hardware wizardwy combined with the business friendly ethos of Windows. And that's just the beginning cause if you've ever preferred the Mac OS finder to Windows' fussy filling system, Parallels gives you a choice that is so seamless you will forget that you're running Windows apps inside of Mac OS. Or you can choose a separate Windows UI that effectively gives you two laptops in one. Now who wouldn't take that choice? For my work as a freelance translator, Parallels paid itself off on the day I installed it. System requirements are very doable. I run 16 ram and 500 SSD on Intel Core i7 on my 2015 MacBook pro. I'm also using latest iteration Parallels 16, just in case I have to migrate to a new M1 Mac!

Myself and husband have recently visited Brockhampton Court in Herefordshire to walk our daughters dog, we were greeted by Jan, what a lovely lady, she explained to us that we had to be members of the National trust in order to enter, we had a great chat about Brockhampton Court and some history, she said we could walk the dog in a certain area, which we did, upon returning home, we sat with a warming cup of tea and got straight onto the National Trust website and joined, this weekend I returned with my daughter and went for a very wet walk walk, we saw Jan again which was brilliant as I was able to tell her that we had joined, mostly as a result of her, both my husband and myself both said that we really liked her, full of information but happy to be doing what she was doing, genuine, chatty and extremely helpful, thank you Jan

Useless logistics policies ad customer service need to be escalated and reviewed by your product team. I am extremely shocked and outraged. I placed an order for a laptop, but the warehouse made a mistake and sent my order back to the sender (HP Store) instead of delivering it to my home. As a result, I had to file a claim to confirm that I still want to receive my order. Now, I have to wait an additional 14 days to receive it because of this absurd policy.Instead of quickly correcting their error and sending the order back to me immediately, the company chooses to make customers wait 14 days or longer for a replacement. If I were placing a new order, I would receive it in 2 days. But if I wanted a refund, the process would take a minimum of 14 days—for a laptop that never even left the warehouse! The order was ready and sent back to the sender; they could have simply re-sent the same parcel.I have experience working for retail and e-commerce stores, and I have never encountered such poor logistics. I am deeply upset. There is no way to escalate this issue or speak to a manager, as customer service prevents that from happening. With this experience, you have lost a customer. I will never buy a laptop from your store again.

I can’t believe that a big company like this is incapable of following basic GDPR rules. I unsubscribed from all of their email (which was not easy as you have to log into your profile to do that) and still getting emails 🤦🏻♀️ also there is no way to report on these things. Now I have to log in again and unsubscribe again, as if I have nothing better to do. Might as well delete my profile completely..Add on: the comment below from xing is ridiculous and really plays against them. According to GDPR rules 'The unsubscribe process under GDPR needs to be clear and simple.' This is obviously not the case: I had to log into my profile and navigate multiple checkboxes. IF I have done it wrong, despite being thorough and very much acquainted with these topics, then everyone else will as well.

Destroying a game in a review because you don't like the author of the books the game was based on and that was very likely not even involved in the development of the game. That's just beyond ridiculous and unworthy of a website that claims to do journalism. That someone who generally reviews vibrators and other sextoys (not even joking....) writes this is one thing, that the editor gives his go to publish it, that is something else entirely.
