Find someone else to use! TERRIBLE customer service!

So very unfortunate! This company used to be great, and have excellent customer service, but it's gone so far downhill in the past year or so. They no longer have 1-1 account management, so instead of having someone who is familiar with your event and with whom you can set an appointment to go through your questions, you ONLY have the availability to chat or maybe email. The issue with this is that the written word can oftentimes be taken out of context, and you're relying on ALL of your customers and reps to be very efficient at interpreting text appropriately. So, that being said, the chat allows too many RUDE customer service agents (not all of them but enough), because the anonymity of the chat/email function allows them to be. Often times, though, I find that I know WAY more about the platform than the person with whom I'm chatting. It's always such a waste of time contacting customer support.The platform has many little issues that add up to making it a pain to use. One of the biggest issues we have is using promo codes. Most of us are used to entering a promo code at checkout, but Eventbrite has it entered in tiny, tiny blue letters at the very top of the page, not anywhere near the actual checkout page. This resulted in people accidentally checking out and paying with a credit card, or choosing to pay by check instead (although never intending to pay by check), which resulted in us paying almost $1k in fees for those individuals. I HIGHLY suggest that if you are using any promo codes with Eventbrite that you DO NOT accept checks also because it becomes an "easy out" for registrants. Better yet, use a different platform that has a better user experience. If you allow groups or teams, and you allow the group or team to create a password, it actually forces the team leader to create a password whether they want to or not. So when you discover that this is happening, and you turn off that option, there is NO WAY for the group to turn off their password. They have to create a brand new group to do so. Also group/teams cannot change their group/team name. They have to create a new one and then transfer everyone over. Whomever creates the team name first is the Team Captain/Owner - however this is not apparent when going through the process of creating a team. You unfortunately learn it through trial and error. Organizers cannot make transfers unless the event tickets are live. This is a huge issue because we had times were we needed the tickets off but still needed to transfer individuals. We ended up leaving them as they were and making manual notes - so this is a major limitation of the function of transferring. Much of their informational pages are out of date - for example their QR Code generation page is a few YEARS out of date. Eventbrite has some good points but it's death by a thousand cuts. Beware!

P!ss poor company

It makes me so upset that this company turned to sh!t. they actually used to make good games now it’s all garbage not to mention the customer support or lack their of. Tried figuring out my EA ID and multiple times it said what I put in was prohibited but it was just my name. And when I go to contact them I need to log in to my account but I can’t get in because no matter what I put in nothing works. So just a loop of hell.

Review of booking

Worst customer service and no resolution

First of all, I wish I could rate it zero, unfortunately I can't. I've terminated my property contract last year with Booking.com and they have cancelled all the upcoming bookings for 2025. Recently, I have been issued two invoices to pay about £405.68 stating a customer raised two complaints for a booking made for Mar 2025 which was already cancelled in 2024 but I'm expected to clear the invoice. I don't get why should i pay as there is no valid booking open and for a fact I know that customer has been refunded already talking to the customer service. On the other hand, the customer service team couldn't even speak proper English and they can't answer to any of my questions and there is no case reference number shared for the conversation happened regarding my complaint. I've asked for the process to escalate the case but the call has been abruptly disconnected. I keep trying to connect with the team waiting in the queue for half an hour and getting a call back but they all abruptly disconnecting the calls and trigger an automated email to settle the balance which is unfair. To my surprise, though I asked for Reference Number , I have not been given the number. I'm not even sure if they have a proper channel to resolve a case

Diamond status means nothing anymore

I am a diamond member super frustrated by how strict things suddenly are. I had a free night voucher for being loyal/staying at BW. It expired in 6 months. We were not planning to travel for a couple months after expiration. So instead of being able to use it on a more expensive BW hotel, we had to waste it on a $99 one. They should show more loyalty to loyal customers by making those valid for one year and at minimum 8 months.Then I find, I can’t use my earned points for a reduced rate at BW Long beach convention center. You can’t stay just one night you have to stay two so my points won’t be enough and they don’t seem to offer pay with partial points like the did the last stay.Then the week stay we have booked at the BW in chino won’t let us use points to book a suite. Only to book a basic room. It also used to be free to check in early as a diamond member now they charge at LOng Beach BW. They also upgraded me at most BW on many of our past trips but no longer seem to do that. Overall, why do I continue staying at BW if the loyalty program is no longer loyal to me?

Horrible customer service

Returned 3 items in May 2023. Was partially refunded and called adidas customer service. Notified about a refund glitch and manual refund would need to occur. I have now called/emailed 7 times and 5 months later I get the same generic response with no urgency to resolve. What a horrible company. I will never purchase anything there ever again.

As a creator on Kickstarter, I have been treated poorly numerous times by the gate keepers who approve new campaigns. We have delivered all of our rewards for each and every campaign, yet the Kickstarter regulators delay and ridicule our business practices with absolutely no information on our process. At this point, we have learned that we will need to submit a new campaign at least 6 weeks in advance JUST TO HOPEFULLY BE APPROVED by the the time we want to launch. Our last campaign was scheduled to run for 5 weeks, but the delays caused by their strange and random approval process compressed that to 2 weeks.

Indecent Exposure

Yesterday, an employee of AAA roadside assistance parked his vehicle in front of my home, literally at my doorstep, walked around his vehicle, and proceed to urinate on the street. My 3 children had to witness this event. I contacted the number on the truck (5110) and was asked if I was sure I called the right number. I told the person on the phone I was literally calling the phone number posted on the truck currently in front of my home. I was sent a text to provide pictures that I took. I was told "we'll handle it". Nothing else. No call back. No assurance of reprimand. I have been advised to pursue this event as an indecent exposure event considering that 3 minors witnessed it...which I intend to do. And the topper was when the driver saw me in my window, he smiled at me, got back in his truck, and drove away. If anyone needs to use this service, I would think twice before shaking hands with them !

No shipping accountability

Target Support was so useless today after speaking with both Melissa in the morning and she told me where to find an image of where the package was delivered, and the image showed it was at a gate not my doorstep like in the email that Target sent me indicated. Also the only way for me to get to this email was to track the package on the FedEx website or using an email that was sent to me after the package had already been delivered. The package was delivered during the day the time stamp shows 12:42. This did not require a delivery signature. These factors allowed my package to get stolen. So my next thought was on getting a refund so I called the Target Support line 1(800) 440 0680 to see what the process was and got Sandra on the line and she told me that even though there is evidence of the package being delivered with a photo that I had to wait two business days to work on a refund I will keep you posted as this is still ongoing, but I much prefer a quick response to this problem then being forced to wait two days. I was told that this is policy, and this is a very substandard policy as other stores can help immediately. It seems Target and FedEx are simply inadequate, inconsiderate, and inferior not only when it comes to online shopping but online policy as well.

Finding dealing with Amazon customer services and helplines impossible. Spend hours on the phone going around in circles with no resolution. At 77 years old partially sighted they are driving me crazy. Cannot even get a direct debit for a system I never use cancelled. That would be a start,

The problem on my Philips 55Oled807 is that i cannot use ur new Shop to watch my movie in the Mediathek. Also after following your suggestions. If i use tab sheet Shop, or from tab sheet Startseite open Goggle Play Movies & TV and are redirected to the Shops Mediathek, I cannot see my Movies, in stead it is suggested to buy or hire. So I followed your steps to solve. But I am still offered to buy movies again.I found out, not cuz ur support told me, but by myself, that if i join the tab sheet App, and open Play Store, I can open Google Play Mediatek, how it was earlier. And play all my movies. If i open youtube Fim I only see 16 of my 63 purchased movies in the Mediathek.Why u install a new system if it not works?I think is a task for the swedish press and perhaps EU...
