Review of sephora
Do not to business with Sephora -- they lie about their return policy. I opened and tried a product but found it gritty. I wrote them and asked if that was normal and they said yes but if I didn't like it I could return the product for a full refund. So I sent it back. Over a month later they finally replied that they won't refund my purchase price because I'd opened the product. WTF? I'd made it crystal clear I was returning it after I'd opened it, which is the only way I would know it was gritty. So, don't believe them if they say you'll get a refund. Use it on your turtle or something that can handle poor quality face products. And buy from another cosmetics company that has integrity.
Review of sage
The worst customer service I have ever had. Have spent one week trying to get hold of someone to upgrade our product and spend more money to no avail. After spending 20 years using this product I guess we will have to move to a software company that actually responds to their customers. Very very disappointed and frustrated

I called to dispute a payment. They were very nice and said they would pay me back even though the person didn’t, but unfortunately, they said I was refunded from my friend, which was totally the wrong person that I put the complaint in about if the representative had listened to me. She would’ve understood the spelling of the last name that should be penalized for not paying my money back. I tried to call, but it was on hold for 20 minutes tonight. Tired of it

Review of Etsy
I opened a brand-new Etsy seller account, linked to my registered UK company and passport for ID purposes, and uploaded three completely policy-compliant products. Within less than 24 hours, my account was permanently suspended without warning or explanation.I submitted an appeal, outlining that I had violated no terms, but it was swiftly denied using automation (apparently, a "comprehensive review" of my account was done in less than two minutes). Etsy cited "risk concerns" but refused to disclose any details. They offered no evidence, no chance to address the issue, and no transparency whatsoever.Despite never being able to use the platform or receive any services, Etsy still charged me £11 for beginning my Seller Account, plus VAT, plus three sets of listing fees. They have not refunded it (nor even responded to my follow-ups or requests), and I will now be pursuing a chargeback with my bank. This process is automated, unaccountable, and unfair. If you're a new seller considering Etsy, beware: your account can be shut down instantly, and not only will you be left in the dark, you will also be out of pocket and out of options.

Review of uptimerobot
We've been using Uptime Robot for several years now, to monitor downtime issues with our NFP websites. We have sites hosted on Freeola, but also one on a university server where we have no admin access. UR is particularly helpful when we are accepting applications for our early-career ocean training opportunities - if it flags an issue we are able to extend deadlines and make exceptions in a fair way, even if there are delays getting the site back online.

Agreed with the overall 2 star rating, these are the worst really. They have too many different updates like I had 11 pro and every week new update and It takes forever to update.also when I updated some of my old games stopped working!! SO i had to boot and downgrade back to Windows 10 pro to get them, worst experience possible.
Review of mastercard
Illegal activity? Fraud? Unethical (illegal?) use of card member information??? I am not certain - but, I had an issue with my Mastercard Debit Card. I called the phone number on the back THINKING it was the banking institution that ISSUED me the card.It wasn’t. It was “MasterCard Member Support Services”… or something like that. The person speaking to me had such a strong accent, that I had a difficult time understanding her. That was not the problem - she asked me for about two pieces of personal information … which I later found out (from my bank staff) she should NOT have asked me!Long story short - I filed a complaint against “Fatima” (not certain that was her real name, because when I asked her to spell it, she got very evasive and quickly ended the call. 😕So, I reported her to supervisors, managers, and my bank staff.
Review of lonelyplanet
I ordered two travel guides and when they came, I realized I already had a recent version of one of them. At Lonely Planet's direction, I returned the book I didn't need, without even opening it (and paid for the shipping). When I heard nothing back for about ten days, I checked into it and was told that since Lonely Planet had just switched its online shop to a new provider, I couldn't get a refund. So, they have the book, and can even re-sell it, but they have refused to give me a refund. I have requested a refund several times and they steadfastly refuse. As I have told Lonely Planet multiple times, I have no need for a credit because I won't be traveling again before their credit expires. Don't be fooled by their offer of a credit that isn't an offer. They took the book and won't refund the money. It's that simple. Do not do business with Lonely Planet, or you risk getting ripped off.
Review of fandango
Unless you really know what you are doing on the app, don't bother. Even when the app screws up, the company won't fix or make it right. You're out of luck and out of $$. Shameful. No benefit of the service, whatsoever, especially after they take their fees for tickets purchased.
