Disappointed

We were due to fly from kasane ro glasgow on the 29th of may. Got an email on the 26th that kasane to Johannesburg was cancelled. No offer of alternative or explanation. Had to go and recharge my phone 3 times as livechat wasn't working...phoned and finally got flight rearranged......don't need this stress at the end of a holiday

Account Disabled After Reporting Fraud – No Response From Booking.com

Booking.com disabled my account without warning after I reported an unauthorized transaction and raised a GDPR complaint. Despite sending several emails, I received no meaningful response. I am now locked out of my account and data.This is a serious violation of GDPR rights (right to access, rectification, and erasure). I have filed a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority and will be reporting to consumer protection agencies as well.Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability.

Terrible Customer Service/ Unreliable Service

I bought a flexible ticket and needed to change my flight. GotoGate (in partnership with Booking.com) informed me that their systems weren't allowing them to change my flights (departure and return) so they instructed me to call the airline myself, and clarified that they would refund me a change fee. I did so, then emailed Booking/GotoGate with the receipts, where they informed me that they don't cover takeover fees, only change fees. This makes sense, except in this case, they made me call the airline, as it was their systems that were malfunctioning. Clarifying this situation took another two hours, where the agent says "Additionally, I see that the price our agents have found before transferring you to the airline is extremely high, so I believe that 150 USD is a fair fee for changing your flight." Mind you, the 150$ is the takeover fee that the airline imposed on me because Booking.com is the agency that's supposed to handle it. Not to mention, I paid an additional something hundred dollars to Booking.com in the first place to be able to change my flight. Then that agent closed the chat on me.

Once again the BBC show a total disregard for anyone who is not interested in sports, came home from work turned on my TV to find BBC1 and BBC2 both have tennis on, I then try to watch Sherwood that was recorded last night, no chance its ******* Tennis that’s recorded, what is it with you people you’ll change the schedule at the drop of a hat for sports without a thought for non sports fans. If I could leave zero stars…

If I could leave zero stars and a few goathead burrs for a review, I would. I booked a room as a solo female traveler for an academic conference in Boston. It was a couple of weeks beforehand, at over $100/night, with a shared bathroom. Dodgy, but as a presenter, I needed to be there in person... so I booked it. The property has NO humans to help, no elevator, and the deadbolt to the room I am assigned does not work. I called the customer service line (I think it was in Singapore), told the service agent my situation, and they did absolutely nothing to help...after making all kinds of lovely promises. I had to make an emergency reservation at another hotel by the airport that night. It was terrifying to be stuck in an unfamiliar city with no help or support whatsoever. Agoda THEN offered me their in-house credits in lieu of a refund. I honestly don't feel safe with them, and I don't recommend anyone use their service or trust them with your safety or loved ones. Dangerous scammers who will rifle through your cold corpse for loose change. Gross.

Review of venmo

Useless app when have restrictions on your account !!!

I've been a customer for many years. So when you don't have any restriction on your account, venmo is great, everything is smooth when you send money to your friends. Now if they suspect some kind of fraudulent transactions (it can happen any time for no reason). You will not be able to use your account for many month because they are incompetent. I'm not seeing any other reasons. They can't make the difference between legit and fraudulent transactions. The only solution they found is to put restrictions on your account for many month. Now my last issue I had with them was trying to add a new debit card or bank account. I called the customer service they told me I can't add any new debit card or new bank account on my account for security reasons. I will have to wait 6 month to be able to add a new bank account. Woww they call themselves a fintech company. This is ridiculous. In my case I coudn't use my old accounts and I'm not going to wait 6 month to be able to add new bank accounts. They never gave me this information the day I opened my account and add method payment. They should at list put some kind of notification. I just closed my account. I'm better off without them. There is many other options out there to send money. But I don't understand how a company like that have so much success. They pretty suck at being a tech company. They can't solve problems. They don't deserve there success. The customer support was rude because he didn't care. My advice, use an other app to send money.

If only I had known about this…

If only I had known about this fantastic software, I would have switched to the Apple computer world years ago!I have been a PC user my entire life and grew dependent on a few programs that were only available to me via Microsoft Software.Every time I needed to do a hardware update, I felt restricted to choosing PC platforms which I considered inferior to the Apple hardware.I recently decided to buy my first Apple computer (MacBook M1 Pro) and was going to use my older PC's to continue operating my MS programs and the MacBook for all other uses. This was obviously not the most convenient scenario but it was one that I was willing to accept, that is until I discovered this amazing Parallels software.It has turned my Apple computer into 2 platforms simultaneously!It has enabled me to combine what I consider the superior hardware of a MacBook with the flexibility of running Microsoft Software flawlessly.Needless to say, I am extremely impressed with Parallels software and I am grateful for the opportunity it provides me with to supercharge the capabilities of my MacBook.Regards,Richard

Illegal returns policy

Illegal returns policy. Ordered a jacket which was FAULTY. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Any returns policy that says I have to cover the cost of returning items must only relate to the situation where I change my mind about the item ordered and not where there is a problem with the item. However, they still charge £5 to return faulty items.

Cancelling items as "returns"

Ordered a top recently for £10 + £5 delivery and we received tracking from Royal Mail so presumably they'd got as far as printing a label. Unfortunately it never turned up (or even reached Royal Mail for that matter) and 6 days later we got an email saying the item had been "Returned", and an automatic refund of the £10 price onlyThey wouldn't confirm this but it seems like Abercrombie had stock issues with this item and instead of updating stock or simply cancelling the order with a full refund, they're wrongly marking them as returns and customers are not receiving the £5 postage refund - as it's treated as if I physically returned the item myself. I have given them the extra star as they were prompt at resolving this once I kicked off but it makes you wonder how many people (especially for more pricier orders) aren't chasing the £5 loss...

I'm surprised that I'm able to buy crypto assets without any delay but not able to sell them when I need to, and every time it shows as card unavailable when I go for a sell transaction, although the card is linked to my Binance account.I am also getting an error message: ( Unable to Process There was a problem processing your payment.
