Review of emirates

NOT IMPRESSED

First time I travelled with Emirates ( trip to Thailand) was quite impressed... wow how things change ... booked 4 months in advance for another trip . Not even sat with my girlfriend on flight ... hand luggage taken from my partner just before we got on the plane .. no explanation. Could have had medication , money . Passport .. not even asked ... plane delay so we had to run for the following flight ... no time for a toilet break or drink .... Emirates the money you pay you deserve a lot better ... p,s when you check in .. get some staff 2 hrs queuing is disgusting...

Really great

Terrible experience please beware

Terrible experience please beware. I booked a UK hotel for myself and my elderly father. The booking was never confirmed yet they took the full amount from my card. There is no way of contacting this company try as I might. Even the hotel tried their best, but to no avail and I paid £450 for a hotel stay that we never went on.

no one local is responsible, when you call you get someone overseas who doesn't know what's going on

I bought a refrigerator at the Brentwood BestBuy on 9/29/24. I paid to have it delivered. There was no local contact with the delivery people. I had to speak to someone overseas for information on delivery time.The receipt they gave me states "Arrival Window for 10/3/2024: 7AM - 7PM." I emptied and moved my old refrigerator and other furniture inside and outside to make room for delivery. I had to take time off from work. I had to watch the truck GPS Locater all day. At 7:30 pm the truck was TWO minutes away from my house on the GPS Locater. Then "Elizabeth" phoned. She told me it was "too dark" for them to deliver!Some anonymous person told Elizabeth to tell me that I would have to wait for "someone to call" with a new appointment! And that I was not even first in line for the next day. So I had to put everything back including my old refrigerator. I wasted an entire day waiting for nothing.

The customer service is comparable to Etsy. Very very bad! They do not compromise and will blame you for the system ph*ck up. The way the billing system works is brutal, if you or someone had add a person/agent access to the sites (better make sure which particular site you granting access) and if not it will add to all sites and will change the plan automatically. Example, three agents (free) four agents ( will change to standard plan). My first time seeing the bills and not sure what happened and they should check my history accordingly. Bummer to such a bad customer service.

Long wait. Poor system. Honest reply appreciated

Like others, I waited nearly three hours today to get tickets. I didn't get the time I wanted, but I did get an hour later! The Eventbrite system is hideous and gives no idea how long you might be waiting. While waiting I decided to drop an email to every National Trust email address I could find, including the director general herself, expressing my annoyance. To their credit, and to my surprise, I got a reply within an hour from a very courteous chap, apologising and explaining the situation. He explained that with nearly 6 million members and only 100,000 spaces the demand is through the roof. He acknowledged that the booking system isn't ideal, and doesn't usually handle this many people, they are working on a better solution but this won't happen overnight. Apparently they will be increasing the numbers allowed in once they are confident it is safe to do so, and will be opening more and more places over the coming weeks so the booking issue should improve. The message was essentially ""sorry, we know it's a bit rubbish for you and we're working on that, but it'll calm down, hang in there, thanks for your support."Well played that man, I'm impressed by your honesty, politeness and integrity. I only hope he is a fair reflection of all National Trust staff. For others complaining on here, I fully understand why. As a side note, apparently bookings go live at midnight so set your alarm clocks next week!

I requested for a ride and it delayed…

I requested for a ride and it delayed from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. My phone battery went off and couldn't communicate with the driver again. He didn't show up and I had to get a bus to get to where I was going. Only to charge my phone later and found the driver had charged the trip like he had picked me and dropped me to my destination. Which is a big lie! I tried to go through their app to report it, but it's very fake and used to say my ride is complete there is nothing wrong with it. Later I got InTouch with the customer care but they are the worst of the rotten tomatoes 😔, wueh!!!! They can't think between their ears. I wish I had checked the reviews before using that app. Very poor services!!!!

Not Shopping at Kroger Anymore

I have been shopping at Kroger for years....Lately just going there is stressful no carts in store, shelves empty just never any products....I have now started shopping at Hollywood Market or Meijer. I would rather drive 20 miles out of my way than shop at Kroger at least I am able to buy everything I need at Meijer or Hollywood!! Hopefully Kroger get their act together.

I hate Bing. I wish Microsoft would not have joined with them... I want my google search back!!!! Bings maps are awful land hard to understand. The search engine brings up the wrong content. It's not fair the Microsoft give me no other choice. It should be MY choice as to what search engine I want to use!!
