Review Time
Viber can improve by answering my email and try to solve my problem with activating my account. They only answered "we have sent the activation code to your mobile phone". But nothing had arrived to me. I explained that in the second email but they just ignore me. So I had a very bad experience since they are not interesting in solving my problem so that I can use Viber at all. That gave me a very bad impression.
funny to see 2-star review looking like a praise - cause the majority is only 1-star ))anyway, their "viber out" VOIP service for cheap calling mobile/land lines is a good one - especially when major competitors like Skype went away. the problem is their greed and blatant lie, showing wrong prices for their service. they pretend to offer $9.99+1 credits for 450 turkish lira, but you'll get only ~$6. if that's due to some processing fee or whatever - that must have been explicitly stated (or at least referenced near the payment link) as most of normal services do, right?. no. even after you see you're kinda robbed and get back to the application for double check, you won't find any hints or traces. they're just ready to rob the next one.
What is the hell and awful experience, I should go to read reviews before register!!! but maybe it will save somebody else. I tried to sign up for the subscription but was never able to actually make an account, it gives me error and support is saying "download the app" despite me saying that I did, it didn't work!! They saying that it doesn't connect to the number, I am happy if not, but it is crap connect to my card and they can now charge me for subscription. I wrote support many times but they don't do anything. Absolutely useless and horrible app and service, do not go for it. now instead of smoof service i need to go through the bank.
UPDATE: The Viber-out credit I purchased last month has disappeared! I DID NOT deactivate the account!!! SCAMMERS!What a pain in the a.s.s.!You have to slalom through obstacles just to register or simply log in. After days of trying, I finally manage, but my Viber-out credit for calls is gone! Nothing ever works!!! D.a.m.n. the day I bought from them!
