VERY SLOW RESPONSE, NOT RECOMMENDED!Paid for wordfence premium, scan is not working. Phil replied initially and requested data, now no reply in over 7 days. Therefore here is my 1 star review.Reply: It took you over a week to reply, anyhow I appreciate you guys got back after my 1 star review here. Because your product is actually top notch tech in my opinion I will change my review to 5 stars now.
Trying to get into a subscription study system that I PAY FOR and constantly locked out by frigging WordFence. It's terrible. I literally cannot access my study materials because this POS keeps saying "You have been temporarily locked out of this system. This means you will not be able to log in for a while". This is also stopping me from registering for exams with the same organisation THAT I PAY FOR and if I lose my place, this could cause serious knock on effects, delays and extra expense.
Absolute shambles of a paid support system, I've been a Premium subscriber for a number of years and for the first time ever I have had to open a premium support ticket as Wordfence has repeatedly blocked ourselves and other users accessing our own website. My ticket is still yet to be resolved since opening it nearly a month ago and my last response I've received was 12 days ago. How can they charge for this atrocious "premium support ticket" system.
I just have to share my amazing experience with WordFence and their WordFence Care program. Before subscribing to this service, my website was in a disastrous state, hacked.Their responsiveness and ability to swiftly resolve issues have left me thoroughly impressed. The exchanges I've had with their team have been incredibly insightful and helpful. Although I don't typically leave reviews, I felt compelled to share my positive experience this time around.WordFence has truly exceeded my expectations in assisting me, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much for the exceptional service and the nice people I spoke with.
I've made a good 540 plus websites and WORDFENCE should now be called SCAM FENCE. Since around July 2023 all signup for free version ARE NOT FREE!Wordfence STOPS and require purchase of premium. WASTE oF TIME. DEFENDER much better for free version and a few others. Not sure who at WORDFENCE decided to go scam but no way to run a company.AS of FEB 03 WORDFENCE STILL REQUIRES PREMIUM TO USE. Set up 2 new sites and same SCAM. Receive a major warning screen with this new MUST PAY plugin that Wordfence is not set up. Weird you respond with the BS because this has now happened with around 25 DIFFERENT installs in the last 6 months. Tools used to be free. Set up parameters were free. Just not live updates. Now says you require premium license on ever single new site install
Wordfence has been my solution to a serious issue we encountered with one of our websites. We built the site on WordPress, have an online store, and use WooCommerce. When we were linking the pixels, we unfortunately experienced being hacked. We realized this because our META ads were being redirected to unknown sites, completely unrelated to ours, in a sort of phishing scheme. That's when we understood that the problem originated from our site, which had been hacked and infected with malicious code causing this redirection. We purchased the 'Wordfence Care' package, as our site was fully infected and we needed a thorough review by experts. Dave, who was our consultant, was extremely kind from the start and always attentive to all our emails. We methodically reviewed every potential vulnerability, and finally, the site was completely clean. We will stick with Wordfence to fortify our site, as hacks are becoming more and more common, and it's very risky when dealing with e-commerce. Thank you
I had a malware attack that made my site inoperable. I signed up for Wordfence Care and their team (Graham and Janet) were working on the problem within hours. They cleared up the malware with 24 hours, and had the site fully operational within 48 hours (they even worked on Christmas Day).The best part of the service was the excellent communication from the team. They made sure I knew what they were doing and why, and gave me the tools to monitor my site and fix problems on my own.They were fantastically responsive at every stage. They turned what could have been a business-ending problem into an experience that taught me how to understand, predict, and fix these kinds of issues. I can't recommend this service enought
