I recently upgraded to Wordfence Care and got top-quality professional help from their specialist. My website was hacked for some time and I could not find any qualified help during Christmas time. After I filed a help request, I was contacted very soon by their support team and my problems and all security issues were solved very quickly. MANY MANY YEARS AGO ====a couple of weeks ago, a client at a 'questionable' hosting company got spam injected . . . a problem I had never had at any of my other customer sites at other more reputable hosting companies - so I went to the google genie and researched security plugins, and as we all know, there are basically 3 that are highly rated and downloaded . . so I choose the first one, installed it, ran it and if found nothing . . . I then un-installed it and went to the next one, WordFence, and it found 2 'bad' files which I deleted - it found the exact location of the spam injection in my client's core WordPress code . . . which I then was able to manually delete - wow - this plugin is just fantastic - thanks for creating this - I will consider buying your premium version, just to pay you something as I feel guilty of what it did for me, for free11/17/22 update ====above was years ago (I have no idea how many) - I have been using this product for years now on all my sites - FANTASTICI recently had a problem that was detected with the free version, deleted and repaired all files and the site crashed and burneddecided to try premium to fix it - ran it, found errors, fixed it (repaired and deleted files), expanded scan, found more error, fixed it - BAABLAM - all fixedcan't say enough about the quality of this product or the service they provideYOU CAN’T GO WRONG TRYING THIS PLUGIN!
I use Wordfence on my own site and a number of my client sites and it's always done a great job of protecting them. I've also been in contact with customer support a few times and they've always been helpful and friendly, getting my issues resolved. Thank you!
I really can't rate the Wordfence team, and Scott in particular, high enough.I have used Wordfence for some years to protect a number of websites in conjunction with their 2FA login security, and I feel complete peace of mind for doing so.I recently attempted to renew the website licences, and ENTIRELY due to a fault of my own, completely messed it up.I contacted the Wordfence team. My goodness, I can't thank you all enough for existing. I'm no security expert, but I've been supporting a non-profit with multiple WP sites under AnonymousFox and DDOS attacks and found your service. Racing through the learning process, reaching Central, and locking things down was an absolute godsend. So far, so good, but I wanted to offer my thanks as a lowly nobody trying to protect a corner of the internet.
Even if I had been warned by emails that my subscription renewal was about to come, I missed the date and was debited of the yearly amount as planned. However, as I've put my website on hold for the moment I wanted to downgrade my plan to a free license and I explained the situation by email to Wordfence's customer service team. I was very positively surprised to meet someone as understanding and efficient as Tim ! A coupe of hours later, the momey had been fully refunded on to my account !Well done guys, what a pleasure to work with such a commercial and professionnal team !You've definitely won a long term client and a I'll be happy to recommend you in the future.Thanks again ! :-)
I've been using free Wordfence for several years on many of my Wordpress sites. I upgraded to Premium for one of my sites. I've had a few questions that were a bit tricky and I am really, really impressed that the technicians always respond quickly and go above and beyond and brainstorm with me on every aspect of my issue, EVEN if it may have nothing to do with Wordfence. That is great customer service and very classy. Thank you!
