Happy to have wordfence protecting my site, gives great peace of mind. No hassle protection with alerts for plugin updates, security issues with plugins or abandoned plugins. Haven't needed support too often but when I have, they have been quick to respond and very helpful to all levels of expertise
Wordfence is just excellent.I use the free version of the Wordfence plugin on many sites that I am tasked with keeping secure. I use the free Wordfence.com account to manage them all in one spot. The system works very well! I am happy with the site, the plugins, and especially the support. Every time I have had an issue, I was helped quickly and courteously. They also respond to feedback and suggestions.
I installed the free version on one of my sites then several more. All was good. I then upgraded to the premium version on one of my higher-profile customer sites and it stopped working - every scan failed as did firewall. Multiple requests to ‘premium’ support but still no response after 36hrs. Unimpressed is something of an understatement.
I run Wordfence on all of my WordPress sites to keep them safe. I cannot safe enough good things about their software, it has kept my site from being infected with malware several times and it has found changed files that an attacker tried to do. Great product! 5 Stars!
I've been a WordPress developer for quite a few years. It's just me, and I need tools and services that help me stay on top of my client sites without much fuss or cost. I used WordFence because it helped me update faster. When they started WordFence Central last year, I put all of my sites into that dashboard. Now, I have one place to check for updates and it makes maintaining sites easier. Their support team is amazing and they always make sure my questions are answered quickly and thoroughly. I don't install a WordPress site without installing WordFence, too.
