Review of emirates
I am absolutely disgusted by the experience booking with Emirates. My mother has had to bring her flight forward by two weeks due to her twin brother being rushed in to hospital and is on life support. Emirates have charged an extra £300 for these changes which is disappointing.

Review of kickstarter
They don't care if a project is a scam nor if the project starter actually tries to deliver a project. I have no issue with projects being delayed (even multiple years) but if there is clearly no communication/effort to try to make it work, its to be expected that the platform offers support. But since a project results in a commission, they have no incentive to be honourable towards the backers. Most backers would accept a refund with the commission being taken off, but not even that is being offered. Would have been a great idea if they cared.
Review of imgflip
Nice meme generator, but the community and memes people post are UNFUNNY,and the community argues over tiny things, but Imgflip DOES have some nice meme templates, good for making memes, but don't even dare try to look for good memes here, pretty much 90% of the memes here are going to be the un-funniest thing you will see in a while.
Review of ESPN
Customer service is TERRIBLE!!! Took them 20 minutes to spell my name correctly in order to find my account and confirm the subscription I already told them I had. And that was after speaking to a different representative, doing trouble shooting for 20 minutes and then that rep hung up on me! Now I've been on hold for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor because I wasn't called back by tech support as I was promised. All because I want to PURCHASE a UFC fight - which apparently you can't do over the phone anymore to resolve all of these issues. TERRIBLE!!!!! And it's a monopoly so there's no way around them if you want to watch a live UFC fight. Absolutely ridiculous.
Review of chegg
Customer service is absolutely useless, I both texted the support number and called the support number trying to get my account reinstated as I had broken none of the community guidelines, and they both said they couldn't do anything and in a nice way told me more or less that it was my fault and that I should just know better next time. You can not have it open on both your phone and laptop at the same time without them putting your account on hold, something that is not stated anywhere on the site and that you have to learn the hard way. I am the only person on my account, and even then there was no help offered to me besides being told to wait, something that for me a student with a part-time job is not realistic when the weekend is one of the only times I have excess time to study. If you have the option, absolutely do not use Chegg, almost any other academic study site is better. I've had nothing but issues in my time with them, and they have no consideration for their customers and customer support does nothing to help.
Review of chegg
Every question I've submitted has received an incorrect answer. I told them the answers are wrong, no one at Chegg has bothered to try to help. I've tried to use their "help" feature, they're just as useless. If you can even get a hold of an actual person, all they do is tell you they'll put you through to an "advanced associate" and then you never hear back from the person "helping" you, they don't even have the basic respect to tell you they're transfering you or that the chat is over, or come back and check on you, they just leave you hanging in the chat with no help. These guys suck. Their answers are wrong and no one helps you when you need it. Go elsewhere.
Review of bol
Bought a product, chose the delivery day (had the option for saturday or monday). Chose monday since I knew I would be at home and the product was delivered on sunday to a neighbor of my (without any kind of authorization). Now the neighbor is not at home and I can't use the product today, as I had planned. Why give the option of choosing the delivery day if they will deliver it whenever they want to? Really annoying. And during chatting with bol.com Lorenzo from bol says that he can't to anything about it. Interesting... Next time, amazon it is. They don't mess up deliveries. Sad.
Review of venmo
If possible I would give them 0 stars it is the worst customer service I've ever received. I couldn't receive payment from my renters, I must of contacted customer service 10 times and there response was always the same the problem is on the payees end, that my account was good. That I would need to have the payees contacted Venmo. When they did they were told my account was terminated. When i tried explained this to customer service they would just repeat the same thing. Not sure but I think they are located out of the US So you really can't get anyone the Explain what's going on. They go off a specific script that they go by and don't know how to help specific issues. Save yourself some anxiety and pass on using venmo. I will never use this company again.
Review of udacity
I enjoyed the step by step approach in combination with projects you had to do to finish a significant part in the learning path (Product Management) I completed. The second thing I enjoyed was the accessibility of the gpt variant for questions regarding the module you were currently working on and the feedback after every project on what you did a great job and where you can improve. My conclusion is that I would recommend everyone that wants to keep learning to try it out.

I think that the National trust do a exceptional job under such stressful circumstances. They can't get everything right, but on the whole they are getting most things that matter right.Just a shame that 2 volunteers at Arlington court in North Devon were not as friendly as the majority we have come across over the years.
Review of hp
Deep Sigh! 😩 Where do I begin? 🤷🏾♀️ Let me start off by saying that I've always loved HP. We go back many, many years. I've had a couple of HP desktop computers, and a couple of HP printers over the years. My old desktop broke down years ago. I have my current one now. I don't use it because I truly loved my old one better. My other HP printer is my storage unit. It works just fine. I just didn't want to go through the storage unit to find it. I bought my current HP printer years ago. It's fine. I like it better than the one in storage, actually. For the last 2 days, I couldn't get my printer to print. In fact, it was giving me an error message. Printer unavailable. Printer failure. I've tried absolutely everything. I finally called HP. Asked for Tech Support.Foreigner. Outside of the USA. I thought we had a language barrier, but it was alright. I kept going. He looked me up and found me in the system. He immediately said that I'm out of warranty by over 2,000 days. 👀 I said, I'm not calling about a warranty. That warranty been expired many years ago. I explained my issue and we went from there. He was trying his best to help. When he couldn't get it to work, he stated that I need to get a new printer. Its not working because it's out of warranty. I told him that I'm old school. I'm 56 years old. I don't believe in buying stuff because it's old and/or out of warranty. This printer works just fine - well, until a couple of days ago. Is there anything else we can do? He said, no. Your printer won't work because it's out of warranty. Please buy another printer. I couldn't believe my ears! Is this something new that y'all are doing to people? Making things not work after a certain amount of time? I don't get it. That's crazy! He said, please by a new printer. You'll get a new warranty with that. Mind you, I have a great All-In-One Ink Jet Printer. Fax and all. Well, we hung up and I continued to play around with the printer. Via the printer itself and via the HP Smart app. Guess what? It's printing!!! 🙌🏾I called HP back. I asked for a supervisor. Foreigner, again. I asked are all calls outsourced? Just like everything else nowadays, I guess. That's so unfortunate. You call an American number and get another country! 🤦🏿♀️ Anyway, he said that there's no way to speak to someone in the USA, sorry. A supervisor came to the phone. He immediately said, are you calling about your obsolete printer from earlier? I said, yes! The obsolete printer that needed to be thrown away and get a new one. Yes.He said, well it's out of warranty and that's why it's not working. I told him, I'm calling to let you know to never tell people that. What kind of tech support is this? I got my printer to work. It's working just fine now. He said, it's out warranty and we can't fix it. I hung up. 1 star for this mess.
Review of googleadservices
I received a voucher to start using Google Ads, and just as many people here, I was scammed into spending 150 USD out of my own pocket before I can use the voucher. After 2 hours of chat with Google Support where they were calling out the opaquely defined fine print that never stated that you need to pay before you use your credit, I was trying to explain point by point why the "fine print" was not clear to a first time user and how I feel scammed into spending money where I did not expect to. But the operator was adamant about getting rid of me. He was not allowing me to speak to any other operator or his manager. What a disappointment for a company like Google to use this kind of tricks on their customers and having this low level of customer support.
Review of economist
Was promised student discount for 2 periods (6 months), paid, and saw my subscription period for 6 months when i logged on. I then realize that later that this had been CHANGED to 3 months earlier (so I had to pay full price for the 3 months which wasnt the deal).Customer service did NOTHING to give me back my deal. This is a SCAM. Stay away.
Review of economist
Impossible to cancel the subscription without jumping through hoops. The cancellation process is deliberately misleading and forces you to the chat or call service.Hard selling tactics are used to engage you in a "nice chat" as the process will "take some time". If you refuse to engage in such tactics then the chat bot / person just hangs up and actions none of your requests. After repeating I want to cancel my subscription multipler times (with a chat log to prove it!) and sending emails to the Economist, which were return with the "we no longer use this email" message - they STILL booked another years subscription via PAYPAL.Now I have to waste even more of my time to get 289€!!I would have thought that such a large news outlet would refrain from bullying tactics to keep subscribers on board, but a simple google search on other people similar experiences will inform you that this is not the case.UPDATE: Thankfully I paid through PAYPAL. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to open a subscription to do so through Paypal. If the economist customer services make you jump through hoops and then hang up make sure you say you wish to "cancel your subscription" about 10 times like I did. After the chat you can get a transcript of your char. I raised a complaint on PAYPAL and sent this documentation as evidence.Within 24 hrs the Economist had paid back the money. I doubt very much that this would have happened without Paypal being involved. Thank you pay pal for having a good customer service where others are deceitful.
Review of bbcgoodfood
I submitted a partly critical review on the lemon pancake recipe and it wasn’t published. I then submitted another review using a different account which was not critical and it instantly got published. Don’t waste your time relying on reviews as BBC GoodFood fail to publish some critical reviews - misleading people by not publishing somewhat bad reviews. I wouldn’t even bother with them again. Stick to having kindle recipe books where you can edit and comment on recipes saved.
