My name is Tony Bobet from Bronx, New York City. I am giving a bad review because I ordered two dvd and another item, from Amazon.com. I am going to show you what I am complaining about. Date: July 27, 2023Order # 113-4883950-2014613 Name of item: Columbia Blu Ray DVDPayment of Method: Amazon Gift card.Amount: $25.95. On Sunday, July 30, 2023, I received only two items and not three. The question is: How go to return something that I don't have? I am entitled an full refund and not partial of the full amount that I paid. Now, I have a second copy in other website, like Deep Discount, or Walmart.com. I am disappointed of the lack of shipping my order.
Just terrible customer service. Every second episode in a series "currently unavailable", no answer. Online chat incompetent. Call centre long wait, incomprehensible accent then cut me off when I started to complain as it was recorded. Just awful. Will cancel after free period. Is this really Amazon? They are usually good at customer service.
So I am a long time amazon in general user. My company uses amazon often for company purchases. I used prime video for some time a while back, like about a year more or less... when I tried it I did not like it as in my region shows come out much later forcing me to watch online anyway therfore shortly canceled. A year later I get an alert from my bank stating I was charged for my prime video subscription which I surprisingly haven't used in a year. I immediately reach out to customer service, customer service states there is no charge and they see I had no activity. I stated to customer service I'm logged into my account I see the statement under billing you guys posted showing you charged me. The rep stated no its not showing on my end call your bank. Call ended. This was yesterday they have since blocked my number from customer service, blocked me from chat, blocked me from email. I was robbed by amazon??? Now today I get an email saying be careful clicking on subscribe? So this was on my personal account. For a 6 dollar charge I have instructed my entire company not to use Amazon in general for my company business. I now have no way of communicating with amazon at all and on top of it I have a subscription to something I never subscribed or clicked on or visited the page. I recommend delete and remove your cards from all of their products amazon in general!!! Don't be robbed
Diabolical service. The content is old and not worth watching not to mention having to subscribe to multiple different services to watch anything. Can’t believe you have to pay to watch half the movies that are dated and old anyways. Just paid almost £4 to watch a move and the streaming was horrific, had to come out of it at least 8 times as it kept buffering. Might as well have streamed it illegally it would have Been better quality and that’s not the first time, every time I’ve watched something this happened. Absolutely awful service if I could give 0 stars I would. Apple TV is the place to be, Netflix even deader.
I’m a long time member of Amazon prime. I’ve noticed on the last few months that there are more films that require payment to watch. The films included in the subscription are generally poor ‘B’ movies. Amazon music now only shuffles songs. If you want to play in your order then this an additional £11.99 per month. Amazon used to offer good value for money, not any more. I’m cancelling my Prime subscription this year.
My company has an Amazon business account created in Europe with the company's registration and VAT number.I logged in to the American amazon.com site to order an article that was much cheaper in the US. During checkout, I was asked for my company's tax ID number for customs purposes, which is the same as the VAT number. When I downloaded the invoice a week later, I could see that Portuguese VAT had been added, but Amazon had failed to provide a legally valid invoice indicating under which VAT number they had paid the VAT and indicating my company's VAT number. As such, this negligent invoice would not be valid for reclaiming the VAT paid. How is it possible that the world's largest online retailer doesn't know how to issue a valid invoice? They only care about their own tax optimisation. To hell with the customers' tax documentation. Also, VAT should not be charged when they sell to a VAT-registered company in the EU.When I got support on chat, they kept claiming it was a personal account, which it isn't. They forwarded me to a phone call with someone with an Indian accent on a distorted line where the sound kept dropping out so he could not hear what I was saying. That support agent also claimed it was a personal account. It turns out that Amazon is laying a trap for European business accounts logging in to the US amazon.com site, as amazon.com treats them as personal accounts, and without warning the user about it. The account already knew my delivery address, so how is the user supposed to know that a European business account, which works on amazon.com, is treated as a personal account on amazon.com?I wasted most of an hour on that support call, which ended with the agent sending me a paid return label.I later tried to see if I could create a separate business account on amazon.com, but it will only accept businesses in the US, so amazon.com clearly does not want business customers outside the US.I placed my first Amazon order on amazon.com in 1997. Once upon a time, customer service from Amazon was great, and prices were competitive. Much too often today, it's third-world customer service, and you can often find the same products cheaper elsewhere. No wonder they have to lay off staff.
